The lost project ticks are probably going to kill my favorite character. He is trying to break a lock to escape from a lunatic that is trying to kill him. The lunatic attacks once a day and he is not hindered by the lost ticks. But I keep losing ticks for the lock-breaking project.

I've lost nearly a day of lock-breaking and now the latest attack of the lunatic has wounded me. Even if we get make-up ticks, my wounded character is now less capable of work and needs 11 ticks (instead of 8) for each lock-breaking attempt.

The latest project-tick was missed again, so my character has little chance of breaking that lock before the next attack of the lunatic. If he wounds me further, which is likely, I will need even more ticks to break the lock. The loss of project ticks (without an equivalent loss for people attacking) has tilted the playing field significantly against my character.

It is not fair that attackers get to attack unhindered every day, while those trying to escape are stopped by lost project-ticks.

I wonder if you're talking about my char, but it's not a he, so I assume you're not. As one of my character is doing a similiar thing as the lunatic you're talking about. But I was delayed, though. Instead of attacking at 23:00 my time, I could only attack the next day at 15:00.

If the lag doesn't get fixed though... freeze Cantr. *prepares to be murdered* It's the only fair solution. =o

*stabs wiro* Nooooo!

Btw, someone should be made aware that rerunning the ticks has made duplicate items...wish I was making crossbows at the time!

Ah, I was wondering why the people were arriving in towns three times, I guess it's the same bug.

Minutes have not reset. Has a clock been changed somewhere?

It just lagged a lot when the minute reset was supposed to occur. I think it's either late or not going to happen at all again. I hope they'll reset the minutes manually instead if it doesn't happen within the next hour, it'd be a waste to watch and see if anything's going to happen.

I think the process isn't running at all. Tiredness isn't recovering either.

Since the lag is eating minutes prodigiously, and minute reset is now unreliable, is it possible that minutes could just be done away with? Limited minutes doesn't help anyone inactive, it only limits the activity of those who spend too much time in Cantr anyway.

This please. idriveayugo had a good, easy to implement idea, why can't we at least give it a chance?

Otherwise here we all are going into the weekend with no minutes. :( (As opposed to the usual situation where we all 200 but spend them trying to get any pages to load...)

So no manual reset then? Or any word at all from somebody who knows what the heck is going on? It's been all day, I'm honestly surprised there have been so few posts about this so far...

But anyway, let me go ahead and waste all my credits now...I've been voting every chance I have in case of an IC emergency, now I guess I'll have to start saving for the next time the game is broken and nobody fixes it.

I manually reset them yesterday some time after Brimstar posted here, it would be pretty weird if that didn't extend to Marian since at least one person besides me confirmed they had reset. Oh... except if your account is "active" instead of "approved", I forgot about that one. >.<
