Hugs for everyone having a sucky time!! And for everyone having a good time as well. And for everyone having a mundane time (thanks joo).

Statistics class is driving me crazy right now. It's work I already know how to do, dumbed down and adding in busy work. Lectures in this class drive me to wanting to bash my head against the desk. For instance, right now my professor is teaching the class how to do a homework problem on a TI-89 calculator, an ancient one at that. I'd say 98% of the class is using a TI-83 or 84. So this is pointless. And he slowly types in a data set of 75, count them, 75 data points. He's about 50 into it. Do I tell him he had a typo on number 22? No I do not. You bore me, I do not assist you.

*laughs* Thats why I'm afraid to go back to school. I'll get bored and my mind will wonder then I'll half arsy the work still do good enough to pass but then I'll be in the middle of choices for all the 'good stuff'.

*sighs* Well other then that... GREAT LIFE FOR ME! Great gal, great time, all is just great... its a little bothersome as my paranoia gets the best of me and I start looking for the 'not so great'.

*hugs NomPop* Welcome back from you trip... or to your trip.... Dudel is a little confused as to the time frame.

Hahaha. The funniest thing just happened and I can't laugh at it or I'll be raped or murdered....

A very white guy just walked buy acting like a thug...baggy jeans, backwards baseball cap, untied shoes...

Here's the funny part. He's got a very Boston accent when he says, "Yo! There's mah boi!!!!1" (Yes, verbally I can tell the 1 is supposed to be there as punctuation.) and the oversized sweatshirt he's wearing says "Nantucket."

Maybe it's just me, but I see nothing thug about a Bostonian who visited Nantucket.

I don't feel like I have much energy to play today. Two of my characters have been having sex with people who can go several days without posting, and it's hard to remain motivated to reply, but the only way to get out of the situation is to write a lame orgasm and it just doesn't seem right because I'm bored, how can my characters just ignore that days have passed.

Ok, I have had several ask me for an update on my grandmother so I will post it here.

Couple days ago we moved her from the hospital to a hospice care center. She doesn't seem to be in pain though her breathing is getting worse. She was on a bipap mask forcing the oxygen into her system but has since chosen to go back to the nasal oxygen she has been using which means she is not getting enough oxygen in her system and the (carbon dioxide?) is building in her system as her body is unable to get rid of it.

We moved her to a hospice care center where she could be more comfortable. There is no question that she is dying, it is just a matter now of waiting. She stayed in hospice for nearly two days before deciding she just wanted to go home so we have moved her home to die. We have been staying with her by her side since and will continue to do so. She had been doing fairly well and staying somewhat coherant when not on the drugs up until yesterday. Yesterday she began slurring her words and unable to focus, she seems to stare right through you when you talk to her the brief times she opens her eyes and at times she doesn't know where she is or who we are. She is not eating and not drinking, so it should not be long before she passes on. It has been very rough these last few days and for those that have been praying for myself and my family it is greatly appreciated. You do not know how much it means to us. Right now we are just hoping she will go soon so that it will stop her suffering. She's a tough old woman and has lived 12 years past what the doctors told her she would as it is. We've been very blessed to have had her as long as we have. Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers everyone.

Grandmother died this morning, about three hours ago. We'll be having the funeral in a few days. Until then my characters will be fairly sleepy while my family handles all the arrangements and such.

Wow Randi... I hope it goes well... or as well as a funeral can. I didn't know what to say about the hospice thing except I know while in hospice people are taken GREAT care of.

Hope you have someone to cry on/with cause its not good to keep anything bottled up.

 It SUCKS to lose family members.
