Fully Formed Religions
Question that may or may not be able to be found out BUT I was wondering how may FULLY FORMED religions actually existed in Cantr. I've seen only a couple but they weren't fully practiced or preached.
I've seen Dorii and and something odd about the Sanctum but that is all myself.
Dudel was just wondering as it seems as most Cantrinians aren't very open to the idea of religion for the most part.

I don't think they aren't open. I just think that most aren't interested in investing solid time into something with limited return (beyond, a bit of RP street cred perhaps?).
inb4 over analysing things again. oops, too late.

One of my first characters became a believer of the Keeper but I think it's lame that the faith of the Keeper (and the priestess Leonorra~Ness Tiffa) have been allowed to be revived on another region. That's basically saying their Goddess is supported by the powers that be. If a religion fails to stay alive in Cantr or can't be revived later through someone studying it's writings then people should just let it die instead of practically CRBing to resurrect it.

There are very few fully functional religions... I think one of the biggest problems is that a large majority of players base their newspawns on a pre-character creation platform, instead of basing their character primarily off the existing cultures of their spawnplace.
Yet there are a couple that still exist... If barely. The Order of Donnii is one, and the Church of the Holy Father is another. They don't really have much for followers outside of the pathetically small clergies. But they have fairly extensive texts, as well as rituals and traditions. (The secret induction ceremony to the Order of the Rose gets a big thumbs up --> Ben Clancy and his predecessor did well)

I have yet to see a religion going strong
I think many fail because usually its a newspawn suddenly popping up and saying "im the leader of this religion, all you people should give me resources to fund my church"
If there was a religion with strong, rich leaders who offer incentives (or punishments
) to those who follow it might last a while

I have a character who forces people in her religion.
As BlueNine said, if you have the power, use it. If you don't, don't even bother. ^^

I don't think I've seen one that I'd ever call "fully formed" in Cantr... and one of my characters was a preacher(at least my character preached a religion I didn't create; religious views held by more than one character seem even more rare than religious views as a whole)

Yeah, they were just joking (lamely).
I remember someone (Satai?) telling me that when Sury Dond came to preach about Donii in Kiii, the people outside told him "we don't need a church, we've got Jaina".
