Define most active.

Speaks most, most time spent on project, most time logged in etc etc

I'm afraid this won't be possible to do, or at least not easy:
-> how would you define 'most active'?
-> how should the players be named?

why not by minutes used.

1-50 minutes used
51-100 minutes used
101-150 minutes used
151-199 minutes used
200 minutes used.

Someone who plays 50 minutes a day for 4 years obviously spends more minutes than someone who plays 200 minute every day for a month. I don't think "most active player" would be possible to properly put into statistics.

Some of us active players also use strategies to greatly reduce the amount of minutes we use, so going by that is definitely out the window.

Also, events activity, can only go back 7 days.

The game does keep track of who's logged in at any given time, but as far as I know, that information is not recorded.

Furthermore, I think that when you make people have to wait to get their account approved, it detracts a great amount of people from getting into the game. As someone mentioned earlier...most people just want to see what Cantr is about and if they have to wait to get their account approved, odds are a person will just go explore some other mmo game.

Newspawns going where they are wanted and either a way to allow a person to be instantly accepted, or a way for a person to see what the game is like while they are waiting on their account I think will increase the amount of people who play the game.

Perhaps we can have accounts instantly approved, but bar a new character from talking/making notes until the account is ok'd by a person?

This is connected to the recent newspawn location suggestion. I will copy it there.
I think ...

The game doesn't record how much time a person has spent online, only how many minutes they have spent in a day. It might be possible to search how many events someone has created but the recording of events is a bit difficult to understand. There are hundreds of different event types so defining which ones of them are caused by player activity and which ones are by the game would take a while.

It would be possible to check the distribution of minutes left today, although it doesn't necessarily tell anything. And posting names would be iffy, in the past people's permission has been asked before publishing personal information (the most popular characters, or how many people have named them).

Most times logged in per day.

Not time logged in, cause people log-in, and go and do something else, and after an hour do something again and then are active for over an hour, wil they are actually only 5 minutes online

Any of the players that save minutes by logging in, loading a char page & logging out to read it & compose a response, then re-logging in to paste a response and log out again.

Or any that play by phone. That lags out constantly.

I don't think the times of logging in are recorded... they only record the latest login. I could check how many of the active accounts have been logged into within a day. If someone logged in today, it's quite likely they do so every day.

Very well, in that case:

The one who speaks the most.

And the most active characters are... *drumroll* All Polish! Okay well, not literally all, but the vast majority, 23/30. Only 5 English characters fit in the top 30, and one Portuguese and one Spanish.

Edit: I could post a list of just English characters but I'm sure some people would not want their characters' names to appear on it so if that were to happen, it would either have to be private (you send a character name and get a ranking) or people should be warned in advance to change their character names if they don't want them to show up on the list. Sounds like that would be a hassle.

Edit 3: Apparently id numbers are private information so they can't be posted here either. Hopefully the people who were interested in their ranking saw their placement.

That's quite worrying.

I'm hardly a very active player, but my accounts near the top...
