I'd like to say one of my own...but I can't. He's still alive and modern, and I don't want people to know.

I liked the name I had for my character. Or well I liked two of them.
Dapre Tera and Eunectes Boidae. I can only name those because I don't really pay attention to character names
, but I'm with Jos with liking names with z's, x's, w's, c's et cetera in them. Also names that are derived from something (like Eunectes Boidae: eunectes = latin for anaconda - boidae = "a family of non-venomous snakes found in the Americas, Africa, Europe, Asia and some Pacific Islands.").
I did like Faera Naebo also, but somehow that didn't appeal to me as much

I actually named one of my first characters after the Japanese Giant Salamander

Pretty in pink.

I usually cheat with creating names by using the Fantasy Name Generator
(Also used for many location names on newer islands in Cantr.)

I have heard Arrav somewere... I think it is a place...
Well anyway, I make up my names, somtime the fistname is an existing one. And a few of them is older names.

Me too. I like http://nine.frenchboys.net, not least because of its URL.

The detailed character generator is pretty awesome too.

Dudel uses http://www.behindthename.com/random/ for name generation if I CAN'T find one myself.
