but you'd have to make it like a vecheile aswell i find it weird that you can work on a road and rebuild it's entire length but never leave town. perhap's with the bulldozer you stay in one town but when it's done you move to the town at the other end. if you want back you drive back.then road companie's can start up and drive their machines around instead of having to build a new one in every town

Pushing down trees with their hands, lol. Yeah, that'll work.

How would the Bulldozer work, exactly? It would need to be an ITEM, even though it's a vehicle. Would not a project that requires a VEHICLE require extra programming?

not much just change it so that the higher end road upgrades don't appear unless your inside a bulldozer.or something like that. or you can start it from inside the bulldozer and only work on it from in there.

I'm sure that would work, yes. But, that means ANYONE could improve the road as long as SOMEONE has a Bulldozer at that location. Is that really fair? ... Dramatazation:

Meh: "Horray! I have built this wonderous red bulldozer to improve the road!"
Anthony: *Takes Meh's Keys* "YOINK! Now -I- shall improve the road using YOUR Bulldozer because Cantr lets me do that!"
Meh: *Falls to his knees* "Will this torture never end!? WHYYYY!?!?!"

Okay, something MIGHT happen like that. But, yeah... >.>

[Anthony Says: "Remind me to tell you that mean things aren't liked here on the forums "](Must I remind you it's not nice to edit other peoples posts :P), but yes I think we should keep the shovel because there will be problems with the Bulldozer.

And the water bucket is going to be different how?

Anyhow a bulldozer would be so expensive that using it multiple times like that would not be that big of a deal. You make the thing. It goes slow and can only use the best roads or something?

As an alternative. Making dynamite the requirement for certainn levels of raod construction might be interesting. Then have the road project produce stone (and bones - oops!).

Dynatmite - another thing for goverment to fear - building deconstruction. Mwah.

You can pick up the water bucket, so, if its yours you hold it, then drop it when you need to use it. Or something.

I know ALL machines can be used by EVERYONE. But a bulldozer is a vehicle, and well, logically you'd think you'd need to be INSIDE to use it. But if inside, there would need to be some code to check if you are then improve the road. Otherwise, you'd be outside and it would just be a normal machine with wheels. Correct?

You might aswell just make it like a vehicle with a drill inside, except its not a drill its a dozerblade

Even if they're self driving, don't they need someone in it to get it to start moving? :P

that idea with the drill type machine inside it could be workable. but how would you get the resources into the project would they be inside or outside ?

Couldn't you make it a project inside the vehicle? People could carry materials into the vehicle to use on the project. I suppose the vehicle would be unable to move out of the town while the project was in the vehicle.

Alternatively, make it so that certain projects can only be worked on by people in bulldozers.

While we're on this idea, why not make vehicle-mounted weapons? Catapults and large battering rams would be interesting.

Yeah that would be cool. Why don't we make castles too. Than we can have seiges and full scale wars (note: There was no sarcasm just to insure you guys).

There's no need for a Castle. A Hall is already an EXTREMELY large building. Just build several halls within a hall and call it a Castle :P

Plus, siege engines and weapons on vehicles would be neat. Destoy buildings with em.
