One tick

Postby *Wiro » Sat Jan 10, 2009 1:53 pm

Currently we have lots of lag with every tick, and these ticks are spread out over a quite large amount of time. So no one can properly play Cantr at those times.

So why not have all of the ticks at the same time? In one big tick?
I think it might be a bit laggy like that, but it wouldn't be as worse as being unable to play Cantr for an hour because of all the ticks, right?

Well naturally not everything could happen in one big tick, imagine what it would do to projects and traveling. But stuff like deterioration, eating, deaths and such could well take place during a scheduled downtime.

I've been thinking the same. At one time there was a 20 minute downtime daily. And for the ticks on the Cantrian hour, maybe all - road, sea movement and project updates, plus animal attacks, would cause less problem if they were all done at the same time, so there'd bre a mini-break every 3 earth hours.

I think it is worth a try, you can allways set it back.:D
