She seems strong and is in her fourties. She wears a nearly plain pair of wooden clogs with a small pattern carved in the sides, an elegant dress of fine silk clings to the body, starting closely around the neck and working its way down to just above the ankles. Nicely fitted sleeves end at the wrists and small pieces of embroidery decorate the bodice, and a thick piece of polished iron wraps around the wearers wrist.

She's working on a silk veil and a hemp outfit too, and she also has a fur cloak. lol a silk dress, a crossbow, and an iron shield, what a great mix 8)

LOL

I wonder if the clogs match the dress, though. I'll ask IC when she comes out of her house. There wasn't enough silk to make silk slippers. :( And is the silk veil supposed to be like a wedding veil or what?

With the amount of girls in the Clan, you might bring me to ideas...

Only two of my chars have clothing, one just consists of a loin cloth and a wooden bracelet. Most dressed is my mac gregor with his tunic and boots. Waiting on a third char to make a hemp tunic and hemp trousers, will be my best then :D

These are probably my two best dressed characters -

He seems strong, is in his fourties. He wears a hat of carefully cleaned animal fur. It covers the head well and looks warm , a pair of finely sewn, snug fitting, soft leather gloves, some pieces of leather stitched together to make a pair of shoes made in such a way so that they can be slipped on and off without the need for something to tighten them, a small piece of fur that covers the groin and pelvic region leaving little to the imagination, a patch of sturdy leather covers one eye, with a thin band of leather encircling the head and a thick piece of polished iron wraps around the wearers wrist.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

He seems strong, is in his twenties. He wears a simple cap of stitched together pieces of cured leather, a sleevless hemp garment that half covers the hips and is held together at the front by some ties, a pair of pants made from a course hemp fibre and a pair of thick hemp gloves that seem designed for hard work and bitter cold, made of a tough looking material.

The latter is a clothes maker himself so he could probably make better clothes to wear if he wasn't so busy making things for everyone else!
People don't change....perceptions do.
