*stuggles to keep from typing the relevant monty python moose references from the holy grail credits*

I did envision an island with much wood, much elks, little to no vegitable food to eat and fjords. I grew up in an area with many inlets they do have such a big effect on movement.

ROAD KILL

Postby Psycho Pixie » Wed Mar 24, 2004 3:33 am

you know, we have cars, and we have animals on the roads... why dont we have road kill?

while traveling... "you see 2 dead rabbits, freshly run over by a passing car. "

options:
collect damaged bones,
collect damaged fur,

after one day, you cannot collect meat from roadkill.
Here I am. BITE ME. or not, in fact, never mind, dont want some wacko taking me up on the offer. Only non wacko's may apply for bite allowance.. no garentee that you will be granted said allowance, but you can try.

animal suggestions:

Emu's are big birds like ostriches, but they have softer feathers and if you kill them, they have this oil which would be good for treating leather, and making "stone oil lamps" but thats for another suggestion board isnt it? oil lamps?

acept you'd need a car or pick up to kill the emu's. ya can shoot the bugger's and it hardly get's through the feather's and you try and hit a head the size of the golf bar that's running at 30. easiest way to chase em in a vech and hit em in the neck with a lump of wood. their neck's bend round it read funny like hehe. not bad meat eiher if a bit tough and stringy

Nah... Serious... Crabs and/or lobster for the coastal areas...

Heh, we got scarabs, we got scorpions. Why not crabs?

I think crabs sound good. I mean hunter's point makes sense. Why don't we get ants too, and how about some spiders. :P

speaking of australian animals, i think the game is lacking in that area. how about some wombats, koala bears, kangaroos, etc? and we have to have platypus and echidnas! life is simply not complete without monotremes.

Yeah, Cantr II. Where bugs are the programmers...
And don't take away the scarabs... U'd debug the game. (Discworld joke).

Maybe oysters? No need to grill them to make edible... Same for the Lobsters.

Hmmm... Pearls ingame would be cool come to think about it. :D
