Probably the biggest, Galleon is the biggest ship and a van is the biggest land vehicle.

I doubt it is, as that info is hardly usable in-game. :S But I'm not a PD member so don't rely on this post.

Okay, which is better.
A rickshaw or a dirt motorcycle?

Speed-wise the motorcycle would be better.
Capacity-wise the rickshaw is better.

It's all in da wiki.

I see.
What I was thinking was more in terms of resources needed to manufacture them.

Worth is relative. Is it about speed, weight capacity, people capacity or where you can go with it? If you have a fancy car but can't go anywhere because none of the roads have been upgraded, the car isn't worth the resources that were put to it. If you have a dirt motorcycle, you can travel on all paths and it goes faster than vehicles without an engine but you can't carry much. What if you have a good friend who you'd like to travel with but he or she has no vehicle? Then it doesn't matter if you had the fastest bike or motorcycle in the world because you'll still have to slow down in order to travel together with your friend. Not to mention what if you have the fanciest car or motorcycle but have no magnesium for an engine. Then you just have a room with no privacy.

Even if I couldn't go anywhere in it...I'd still like a bus all to myself :)

It would be cool if you would make some kind of town in a bus on the middle of a road. :P Or make an island of boats. :D

Back in the day when you undocked from boats like you undocked from shore (i.e. several pixels away from where you came from), one of my characters had an idea to make a boat bridge from Treefeather to Cantr island. You'd just dock from one to another until you got to the other side. Instant travel.

The -only- thing keeping wiro's ideas from happening is the fact that resource processing is limited, and you don't get newspawns. Any such mobile town would have to have a home port to resupply from. But things like this have been thought of before.

You'd need to give everyone keys, too. Else the boats would be easily stolen. But I can imagine it being quite fun on a boat-island like that. But... I have never tried docking more than one boat to another boat, is it even possible?

I tried a couple times to create a floating city, but until now no one around me was ever interested.

I've seen ships with loads of boats docked to them.
