No it doesn't.

Yes it does. But Joo was just being a grammar Nazi anyway, so go ahead and say it doesn't.

Iceskating was fun. Someone rode over the gym teacher's fingers. It was funny because he was all "Mittens are stupid" and now his fingers are cut. :D

And Joo, check this:
12. If the parenthesis is a complete sentence, the full stop stays inside the brackets:

There was an earthquake in Osaka. (Another had occurred in Tokyo the year previously.)

So the way I did it was right!

Dammit. I'm so stupid. I thought this was all about an one-eyed smiley.

(By the way, I use the dot inside brackets quite frequently, too.)

It depends on whether the whole sentence was inside the parenthesis, or just the end of a sentence, (for example if I decided to add something in here, the full stop would be outside the parenthesis because if you disregard the additional text in the parenthesis, the main sentence would be left without a proper ending). (However, if I write a whole sentence here, the full stop will be inside the parenthesis.)

I was elsewhere. I didn't notice someone else had already said it.

Today I learned that the funding for my therapy is going to end and also the funding for my other kind of support is going to end because the psychiatry side thinks that since I have Asperger type symptoms, social services should take care of me, and social services thinks that because I don't have an official diagnosis then psychiatry should take care of me. So both parties are refusing to take responsibility. I'm in this one project so I won't be left totally without support but stuff is ending awfully soon.

Out of curiosity, what symptoms are those? Or is this too personal?
