Unless Dudel feels that the RP in question is a CRB, which in this case would not be so, Dudel interacts with people.

Heck Dudel's characters interject when they shouldn't... JUST LIKE DUDEL!

Also.... *holds item up* See this is what I was talking about.

i tend to use *smiles/laughs/dances the funky mamba etc* as i feel the he/she is implied by the "man in his twenties says:" but having the he/she is ok...not a fan of the *i step out in front of a falling tree* though because as the reader I'm like "noo i'm not!"

i'd like to use this opportunity to say how much I hate reading *wishes he could see his lover one last time* or similar...recently had the misfortune to be around someone who decided to emote a chars dreams and lets just say it was lucky for them that my char doesn't have a big ol' sword!

aaaand to add my own lil bit into the discussion, has anyone else toyed with the idea of leaving a kind of OOC hint into actions, like *laughs at the joke (OOC:If your char is sharp-minded they could notice that is it sarcastic laughter)* ...I've thought about it, but it looks pretty horrible so don't plan on trying it anytime soon

I think once you get to know a character you know their sarcasm. Like if someone is grinning, or smirking, and you think MAYBE they're being sarcastic..they probably are.

or say.. *says this with a touch of sarcasm*? Lol i dunno man, people tend to know when certain of my charris *grins and rolls her eyes* they are sarcastic.

Other times I have to explain that I was being sarcastic. Similar to RL.

(and yes i just lazied out of typing "real life" Sue me.)

Buh...but sarcasm is subjective. Its the magic of joking and offending inderectly so slow people won't notice. If I write *grins sarcasticaly* then it looses it. Besides that everyone in cantr wants to be the smart guy and will get their clubs out to beat ya.

I have a char who grins a lot, but I don't write like "sarcastic grin". It is obnoxious. So I just send out lots of exaggerated dialogue.

Characters need a willpower trait and roll a sense motive check every time someone is being sarcastic.

You are so amazing. *he says sarcastically*

That's how I'd do it. So that's where I would use he/she because it looks better.
