Rollover Minutes = )

I do like that the concept of rollover. There is always that one day where you want to spend alot of time doing something. Perhaps if minutes were allowed to go a little in the negative and the screen would change colors when that happened.

Now I like that one. It would be good, and then those extra mins are just taken off your next day.

The reason I don't like roll over minutes is because someone could just save up about 3 or 4 consecutive days worth of minutes and it could still be a problem for the server when others do it too....Or am I mistaken on that? I don't know much about servers

No offense, but i doubt that subject will change for a while.

I don't think we need rollover mins. I've only ran out of minutes twice now and it may be annoying but you can start the next day too. At least until we can get another server which will take time and money

Yes I don't think we need roll over minutes I just think we should do what Meh said. I mean I like the idea of having around 15 extra or so minutes because I have had times where major events have happened in the cities I play in and I am unable to respond to all of them in time. With that extra time I could be able to.

That's a useless idea. He's too greedy to donate. He'd charge us way more than it was worth and it would crash even more than the one we have now!

I like Meh's idea - or another suggestion would be to give each user a "reserve tank" of minutes per month - say an extra 200.

They can use them any time they want (once their time for a given day has run out) but they only get 200 / month so they'll have to self manage.

200 should be more than enough to cover for those days when Meh oversleeps a bit or there's just a lot to do or you need to get your char out of harms way.

Actaully the if you follow his previous patterns in other groups of software.

1) Reverse enginneer a lower quality product
2) Give it away free
3) Slowly improve it just enough so it is good enough but not as good as the orginal
4) Watch the other side collapse
5) start chrage maoney for the next version with a single new wiznabg feature
6) with the monopoly established and cash flow coming in stopp improvment and divert cash flow to the destruction of another victim

The best you can hope for is that step 1 is offer a small amount of money for the rights. A few million is nothing to the empire. Take the offer. Long term there is no other choice.

Maybe however we could have a time storage for the accoutn we have. such as you are not able to get on you could store say up to 100 minutes for those days when things are going by quickly by saving time when nothing is happening for the character. Personally I hardly ever run out of time.. but i have RL duties that I must attend to.

Oldest thread I could find on the topic. It is back.

I did not have problems with minutes before.
Now I am.
I am RPing like mad at times and my minutes go away too quickly.
I do not have a problem with time limits if I am not RPing.
I am now RPing more. RPing takes more minutes.

I do know if it is even at all possible, but I think that people that
RP should get more minutes.

I have 3 minutes left and have 3 characters that need more time.

I would like a 50% 25% 10% rollover.

to a limit of 400 minuts, we should have rollover! or maby 300 or 350, but not foreaver, 'caus then we'd have peoplewith 13243593947394859 minuts, and that's just silly.

Yes, Pie.
A percentage of each day rolls over.
Example: day 2000 you have 150 minutes left.
day 2001 you would have 275 minutes and you use none.
day 2002 you would have 337 minutes and you use all but 12 minutes.
day 2003 you would have 206 minutes.

I do see the problem Pie. There would have to be like you said. A cap of 400 minutes.

That would greatly help the RPing community.
