(OOC) i'm screwed. my power cord has finally given out. i've had problems with it for the past few weeks. it is now officially dead. i won't be as active, in fact i probably won't be able to get on at all anymore. i am reduced to using the public library which means i will only check this once a day at most.

Depending on what country you live in, finding a new computer power cord shouldn't be too hard. In the UK, most electric kettles use the same type of connection, and they shouldn't be very expensive.
