It caused people to go hungry. And now there are all kinds of mass-production things to quickly get one certain product just so it's cheaper.

Like with meat. All kinds of animals just live to die and get eaten. They live in small cages forever and all they do is eat. Some animals (geese, foie gras anyone?) don't even get any water.

That's what made me become a vegetarian. If people would just respect animals and give them a life full of happiness, like anyone deserves, then I wouldn't have become a vegetarian.

Now there are special stores that have so-called "animal-friendly" meat, but they ask more money just because the animals died "happy", which I'm sure they didn't.

Blergh. The trouble compared to the easiness of using it is so much more.

@Mikki - Bah. Drugs and alcohol. Instead of 'helping' everyone by doing all kinds of things we aren't allowed to know, just make those two things illegal!

And it's ridiculous how he "wasn't worthy" of a liver. Any human life is equal, except for those who think of that in a different way. (Ya ya, hypocrite. Nazi.)

And school is pissing me off too. Geography: look up all terms in the book and write down their definition. One of my friends didn't understand one of the terms, I said at what page he could find an explanation and BAM I have to write down all of the rules because apparently I wasn't supposed to talk. And this all happened while some other kid was yelling "cancer this, cancer that" at all kinds of things and people (Cancer is a seriously bad swear word in the netherlands).

So today I decided that he's not only a hypocrite, but also a pedo because he just gets his orgasm off of looking at poor kids who don't understand things and not explaining them and also a nazi.

FUN DAY. :D

You sure use the word nazi a lot ^^.

The problem still isn't the money itself. Money's just little pieces of cloth or some numbers on your bank account, that make paying with less handy things like goats or cheese unnecessary. (And it's a lot less smelly for sure. ^^)

The real problem is that people are allowed to earn it in ways that could be called unethical, regardless if that's by some stock market mumbo jumbo, by letting your property work for you or by torturing geese.

I'd much rather buy some milk in the supermarket by trading it for some apples.

ANYWAY. Anti-rant. YAY. Today I can finally spawn my new character. I just need the Cantr day to freaking end!

Gonna be fun.. IF he spawns in a place with non-sleepy people. :O

Hey that's exactly why I became a vegetarian, Wiro. Sometimes I try to convince people, or at least make them see my motive, but it seems so hopeless.

Hm that's not even why I'm writing. I feel really effed up. In fact I *did* eff up and I hate it. Just needed to get that out there.

You can obtain milk by trading with apples---It's a matter of finding someone who will trade you the milk for your apples at this day and age. There's no law that says you HAVE to use money. Course you couldn't trade an apple for your electric bill, but I bet you someone would take an apple in exchange for lamp oil. (Maybe the Amish. :) The other problem is that most people "want" money because they believe it's worth something. In our world, it's hard not to believe that it is when most people/things/places use the money system. Even the Amish have found themselves using it more and more---But that's because we won't give them a ride somewhere in exchange for a dozen of eggs. (And well, you'll find that they don't always bake their own bread anymore either.) And we won't do that for them, though, because the car can't run on eggs for fuel.
(Well actually we personally do get our eggs from the Amish because we don't charge the standing rate per a mile that most do.)

And by the way, their chickens are free roaming chickens. So at least we can smile about that.
I hate people.

All I ever hear about vegetarians is about how unhealthy it is and everything.
Haven't been sick in FIVE years. And even then it was just for a few hours because there was this stupid teacher who pissed me off on purpose and made me sicker and sicker untill I puked. Lol.

But yeah, being a vegetarian is hard. Especially with all these meat-loving bastards who don't give a **** about respecting the fact I respect animals, unlike them. They are the ones who keep fuelling this horrible world by buying meat and eating it.

So how did you f up? And at what?..

@Missy - Exactly. Everyone wants money, because everything that can be obtained somehow, costs money. Making it go on and on in an endless loop.
In the same way we are also digging our own graves.

I will laugh at the people who get sick because of their own stupid behaviour.

But today is not the day to be ranting. School was fun today. Sucks how my minutes are all used up though. I got some very interesting characters at the moment, and I gotta ask someone something before she leaves...

I think it's rediculous how other people constantly try to start arguments with vegetarians. They're the same people who always try to degrade everything else that's different from "normal" behavior (so pretty much everyone). You really have no right to talk that way about anything you've never tried right? I gave vegetarianism a shot once, wasn't really my thing. Still I don't go around saying how horrible it is.

Vegetarianism FTW!!!

*Ahem*

Anyway, money is a good thing. It's basically just tokens saying you can get x amount of this or that. Basically, it has two main benefits.

1. Easy to carry in your wallet ( Just try walking around with 500 apples, 4 goats and a chair:) )

2. Universally acceptable. Say money didn't exist. You have apples and you want a chair. The dude with the chair wants lamp oil, not apples. You go to see the dude with lamp oil and he wants a chicken. So then you need to swap your apples for a chicken, then go see the guy with lamp oil and swap him for your chicken, then swap the lamp oil for the chair. Waaay too much effort.
But with money you give the guy with the chair some money for it. Then he goes and buys his own bloody lamp oil :)

Lyd - Just checked the link. Pretty cool. :P

Naru - That's also why I respect people who do things like dying their hair black and everything. Because that's how they want to be.

I really don't respect anyone who dresses 'cool' because they get more friends like that. And hurt others because that's 'cool'. In fact, one guy at my school like that was ignored by quite some people for a while. All thanks to me. Some people are too shy to say anything, I can be like that too, but when it gets too much and piss me off I will fire everything back. But twice as powerful.

It's great how the bully gets bullied for once. Then they realize it really sucks. Now he isn't like that that much anymore. But I still don't like him and wouldn't do anything for him that he wouldn't do for me. That's the way I roll.

You wouldn't lend me money, I won't lend you money either.
You wouldn't explain something to me, I won't explain something to you either.

And so on. If you got enough influence it's easy to do. I pissed off a few teachers by being like that though. Somehow teachers are superior and better, and therefore deserved to be respected without giving any kind of respect in return. Luckily it's easy to make them shut up. And if they go 'I R GOONA PUNISH JOO! WRITE DOWN ALL THE RULES, TWICE!" then I ask "Why?" and then they're unable to explain why, so I won't do it.

I got into trouble a lot like this, but in the end I always win. :)

And lordcooper, for me, the bad things money creates outweigh the easiness and all other good things about it.

It is still not the money that's creating the problems. People are. If you would have been stabbed by a man in a dark alleyway, would you say "you evil, evil knife"?

Maybe.. It does sound cute.. :P [/totallyforgotIwasmalebutmeh]
But I agree. It's the people that spend money, want it and use it.
And because they spend it, they need more money because else they can't buy other new things. And of course they're going to pick the easiest way to get money.

And I guess if there wasn't money, people would still find some way to earn something else easily and still hurt others.
