Ships Bell

Postby Sillysavage » Mon Nov 10, 2008 1:55 am

Good for sounding when trouble arrises or when entering or leaving ports of call. Can be made out of Iron or Steel. Brass would be more acceptable in most cases. Resources needed would be iron, steel, brass, or a combination of all three. But not to total more than 1000 grams in any of the above mentioned resources. Machinery & tool requirements could be smelters, hammers and/or other equipment deemed necessary.

Ship's Bell

Postby Sillysavage » Mon Nov 10, 2008 2:05 am

Side Note:
Perhaps could be formated the same as 'you hear a lock being broken' to muster ship's personel that are located 'below decks'. (e.g.) Ships cabins and cargo holds.

In the above subject I had called for brass to be used in the creation of a ship's bell. I meant to say bronze...sorry about that. Where does one find phosphorus anyway?

You know, you can edit your posts.

This is a reasonable idea, but it seems a bit trivial at the moment for the effort it would require to be implemented. Of course, if others agree with it it should still be moved to Accepted Suggestions.
