Mixed language locations.

Maybe it would be cool if there were a few locations where people of two or more language groups would spawn.
Just thinking it could add an extra element to the game, trying to cooperate (or not!) with characters speaking a different language.

Is this not already the case?
I am pretty sure that people of differant languages are being spawned into towns already, one of my chars is currently witnessing a spanish (I think) community starting to spawn and settle in an English language location.
Also, there are quite a few islands that have English/ Polish language groups on as well.

It won't be done by changing game mechanics. But I know of atleast two locations where this is already happening due to sailors producing spawns.

I think there's already enough mixing of cultures as it is, at least between the portuguese and lithuanian chars, let the mixing happen naturally, no need to force it...
