It was a bunch of better tactics. There was at least three men on bikes. Two on cars that kept doing sweeps across their lines. Hit and run tactic. DoUrden also had a lot of healing foods.

Plus, I don't see how it is stupid for DoUrden to attack Lad. now. DoUrden controls most of Lad.'s vehicles as well as their own vehicles and if they would most likely use the same hit and run tactics they have always used. They ambushed and soundly slaughtered almost every Lad. soldier they have ever come across and have never taken any losses.

Maybe I missed it, but my character mostly just hid in between chances to shoot. And a lot of the mercenaries stood outside and exchanged fire, I think.

Those were the ones that didn't have transportation. Most of the Lad. army was destroyed on th road.

My character turned and fled when people started getting killed. Of course, now Orson Card hates his guts, so it might not have been much of an improvement after all.

If Lad is going to get crushed by DoUrden, my brainwashed slave is at least getting out of Lad. Turns out all that was needed to get him to move was for a nice person to tell him "The Emperor is dead."

DoUrden isn't going to crush Lad. The word to use is more like pillage, I think.

Well if they dont take mercy on anyone then i think that is a crush more than a pillage. Maybe Dourden will be the next Huge empire in the game.

No, I don't see it happening. They don't seem to have any dreams of growing big. Just staying rich and fat like they are now.

Yeah...
Multinational corporations would have a hard time existing without telecomm infrastructure. Most large companies in the past were one town operations who's sales were widespread but not their infrastructure unless they felt the need to be on top of the raw materials too.

In game terms multilocationalism is a pure ego play.

Hmmm. Ny char hate's their guts. The meercenaries I mean. They like killing way to much. Maybe I'll get a band together to oppose them.
I need something better than a billy club first though.

Anyway, Lad or the mercenaries. Not much difference. Not for the common char or the newspawn. :?

That's how war is...The only people considered are the leaders--soldiers cut each other down and nameless civilians get slaughtered en masse.

No, I meant the
"newspawn hits animal with bare fist and is dead 5 minutes later"
"Newspawn starts project "manufacturing a billy club" and poof... He's dead.
"Person say's something "good" abt the A. empire or bad abt Dourden" and is murdered.
"person is not trusted "Not trustworthy" and thud, he falls to the floor, death by arrowpoisoning"

They're a bunch of cocky, arrogant criminals and murderers... Nothing more.

Yeah, that's what people say. They're wrong tho.

And Dourden are not at war. They're terrorists... Or are they freedom fighters?

Whatever, killing people because of before mentioned reasons is not fair. War or no war.

The saying is "All's fair in love and war"

You know....love = war, just sometimes there is mushy stuff between the battles.

Yes I know. I was just saying that statement. I think under no circumstances it is fair to kill people.
