I somehow missed out on the entire Baron campaign. The closest I got was having someone near the general location of the group trying to fight back at them.

How's abouts when it was mandatory to find out in game for 99% of everything.

When you remember this, but more importantly, the almost exact moment it was all taken away. *wipes at an errant tear* I miss my knowledge.

I miss pok harbour, my favorite place to be, until we were killed off.

Well my Baron died over 50 years ago, and I was talking about when some pirate attacked and took over Pok Harbour, I forget his name, was about 65 years ago.

I remember hearing about that then

i had a character around for the Sjoftich offensive in the baron campaign, but i missed the march by a day, and because of it he met his girlfriend when she spawned in the town. Him and my harbour guy were my first two spawns on this account. My other one was long before done.

If you remember the Nossé.

If you remember Charlie Parker and those before him and working for the old regime of the LAD empire before it was the Alexian Empire.

I remember Parker.

How about Piers Anthony, Robert Smith, the Lad. Empire and Cantr City?

Good times.

Piers Anthony ordered the death of the first character I ever lost.

First character I lost was gored by a boar 3 days in to my playing experience.

T'was mighty painful. For him, that is...

You're an old timer if... you remember the world before a certain "explorer" blanketed the old islands with his encyclopedia...

My first character died in the Krif-Drojf War in day 200 of the game.

You're an old timer when you remember Maynard Leeward the Vampire.

Or Emperor Alexi Romanov of the Empire of Ladvicitavoi.

You're especially old if you remember the infamous player that played those characters.

Actually, I am wrong. Maynard Leeward was the emperor of the Krif Empire. It was Craktar that was the infamous Vampire. Somtimes I get the two mixed up only because they worked so closely together and Craktar took over after Maynard disappeared for a while. Craktar was Cliff's character and I'm not sure who Maynard was actually played by. But Maynard did return after awhile and tried to reclaim power but I think Seatown Forest kept him in check as well as the MacGregors who took over Krif after Craktar.

Last I heard of him he was going over to Iraq. I believe he was in the military. He use to have a website up but that has since been taken down.

Wouldn't know anything about Krif. Never had a character of consequence in that area. Far more familiar with the Lad. Empire and all that unfolded with that... although Lad. was never the same without Romanov.
