It had nothing to do with bodies. It should be fixed now. But if someone sees something weird after the game gets unlocked, don't act upon it, report it.

It would be annoying and weird. But still, it would give some really nice roleplaying possibilities.

Yes, it should all be repaired. All unburied spirits should be reattached to their respective corpses and all successfully buried spirits should be securely fastened in their afterlives.

Report any bugs as normal.

If the non-English speakers would help spread the news across the Cantr universe, we'd appreciate it.

No, I discovered that it wasn't actually dead. It was just that it wasn't lit up due to activity. My mistake.

So you mean, that without the lock, I really could play my old chars? Or do you mean the character page-lock? Anyway, i'm pretty confused... :?

When a person dies, they don't turn into a corpse anymore, they merely get hidden. They're still there where they died, unviewable, unplayable but they're all there. Most likely they have nothing on them but the bug turned them back to life, so technically they could've done everything a living character can do. They could've picked things up, walked, talked and gotten injured, even died again. Note that this is just my assumption, not necessarily a fact. But if someone had started a burial project on someone's corpse that was lying around, the person would've been marked awaiting for burial and they would've turned invisible and unplayable. Likewise if an existing burial project had been finished, the owner of the corpse would have turned unplayable and invisible.

Yes. Although they had no memories of people or places. They also might not of retained their skills, but I wasn't able to check that.

So, all my dead chars exists, but they are invisible and - cause of the lock - unplayable?

No. You're really confused.

Your dead characters are dead. They're invisible and unplayable. The bug made them visible and playable. Because of this, the admins locked the game so you couldn't play any of your characters. They fixed it, re-hid the dead characters, and unlocked the game. That's it.

So Cantr charries have their own afterlife. Creepy. There, but invisible and unconscious. Like an electronic form of Catholic limbo.

Why keep them around at all? What are you staff up to? Bunch of retrograde virtual necrophiliacs, if you ask me.

Which is a great name for a band, by the way.

But if they are in Catholic limbo, think of the possibilities. Some day Jos could go nuts and make himself into the Cantr Christ, promising and then delivering the resurrection of the hosts.

Good times, them would be.

If Cantr would ever get a reset again, that would be a great way to have the end of Cantr.
The death walk and are after your soul~!
