Bridges

Postby mikejacobs14 » Wed Sep 10, 2008 8:05 am

*I have searched and I could not find a topic regarding to this so don't bite if its a duplicate*

Okay, you know how we have the ability to upgrade roads and stuff, and also that we have sextants and such, why not also implement bridges? Let say there must be a limit on how wide the bridge can go, and a limit on how many can be built and what environment etc etc.

Possibility- make a shutter-like gate on the bridges so you can stop boats from passing?

There would have to be rivers first.

(which there are, so we've been told, but you can't see them).

Since you can't build anything on roads, and you can't make new roads, what would bridges do?.

I think there is a river by every location, otherwise, how could you collect water from nothing in the desert?
When you hope for something, you often believe in something. When you believe in something, you often have pride in it. Being proud often leads to a hating of some group.
As you can see, the Jedi are hypocrites.

How likely is it to collect a decent amount of water from dew in the desert?

you get water from underground rivers and lakes.. and yes, deserts have them, they are just deep... hence the wells and water pumps.. but we certainly would not need a bridge to cross them!!!

Two guys are standing at the edge of a huge hole in a desert, both of them look down and see its like a bottomless pit.

Bob-"So.....who's going first......"
Me-"You first, after all, our community needs water to survive...."
*push*
*waits for a coupla minutes and sees a dark stain of red in the water.....*

Dunno why I wrote that...
