Also if you started as a baby, other's would have to take care of you and also if some kill-everything-that-moves characters would notice they couldn't even hurt a fly, they would most likely quit. But there's the problem of could you choose the person to play the child or could it be some random newbie who can't even write? It would be quite dull to raise a child that steals everything and kills you the day he turns 20!

At least you cannot use a bone needle to make bone earrings (sounds silly, because I would say the needle in that case is only for piercing the earlobe, not the earring..) and using bone knife instead of an ordinary knife doesn't work out at all. So, let me guess, bone needle is useless and bone knife can only be used in hunting? Am I right?
who cares about the little sicknesses
all they require is a few hours of rest and some food
also all they do is make meesages pop up,
i say either get rid of the sicknesses or make them more powerful

Jingo <yes, I have 2 because I couldn't think of a new name>
Hmm, one of my characters saw one of your Jingos in passing, and another knows the other Jingo quite well(or, at least, he'd like to think he knows that Jingo quite well, as he thinks that Jingo is rather simple and gullible)

I don´t think it a good idea to recognize the language group of a character. You can´t do it in real-life, why should you do it here?
But I agree that learning languages ingame is quite a problem. ...

joo wrote:Oh shit! I forgot to include the "All female option" and now I can't edit the poll - oh well - anyone who has created all female, just select "Mostly Female" and post a reply telling me...
I have several characters, and each one has had problems with important messages being lost in the noise, simply because when people talk to "you," the little white fonted "you" actually stands out less than the general babble, which is people's names in orange. This is even more of a problem for those players who play mute characters and need to pass notes to communicate. I can't tell you how many times I've found notes in my inventory days after they were passed to me.
So my suggestion is this: Please change the font of "you" to bold and a color, preferably NOT orange. Green or light blue would be good. Then when "Bob Bumblestump says to you" or "Bob Bumblestump gives you a note," we'll actually be able to see it immediately. While it is natural for things to be lost in the babble, it shouldn't get lost when someone is standing in your face talking, or puts a note in your hand.

Why can't our characters see swords, crossbows, shields, etc when another character is carrying them?
There's no way an object like that could be hidden in a pocket or a bag, so it should be obvious when a character has one of these objects, just like when they have earrings, daisy crown, or other clothing.
Of course, a knife and other objects of that size could easily be hidden but not the larger tools, weapons and protection.
Are there plans to modify descriptions of characters carrying these objects?

One of my characters wanders around the deserts killing what few people he comes across and steals their possessions.
Except he died yesterday.
Problem is, most hermits don't have a lot of food on them and the constant travelling is tiring.
So one lucky person is going to stumble across a dead body with a LOT of items on him.
