Hmm. I finally gave up looking for an avatar becuase I had trouble figuring out what kind to have and then when I did find one I liked I couldn't figure out how to get it on here. That's been some time ago. You'd be welcome to find one for me.

Appolom: I have no idea what you're talking about...
rconley: We can help you figure out what kind to have. At least give us a theme to work on!
To get an avatar in place, you need to upload the image file to a host (like Photobucket). Then note the URL it gives you (http://example.com/image/file.jpg). Go to Profile in the Cantr forum (at the top of the page), scroll down to Link to off-site Avatar: and put the URL in the box there. Click Submit.

Go into Profile, then in the 'Link to off-site Avatar' box at the bottom, put the picture's address;

Click Submit.

I can only suggest trying it again later, or trying a different image. If you still have a problem, maybe try using a different computer altogether.Appolom wrote:But it comes up with that error!
Although, looking at your error text again, it looks like you're trying to upload a PHP file. Do you get the error message from Cantr or from Photobucket? Either way, you need to upload an image file (GIF, JPG, PNG, or similar), not PHP.
