My girlfriend and I went out to eat the other night and I noticed there were stars next to certain items. It said something about how raw meat could increase the risk of foodborne illness, and cooking it reduced the risk greatly. It was strange because when our waitress came she didn't offer "raw" as a choice for either of our meals. I was deeply confused. I guess that's the price you have to pay to eat out. That and the $50+ that the restaurant imposes on you and the gratuity money...Screw gratuity. I want tips for what I do, but do I get any? No. I'm off topic, so I digress...MMM cookie.

I guess that's one way to stop us from pissing off the world. Eat our children. That way in a few years there are no more Americans, right?

Well, you could export them and make good money on them.

But I don't think there's much demand for them. The Muslims and Jews wouldn't eat them since those kiddies ate pork. The Hindu's wouldnt because of the beef. That's more than half of the worlds population not wanting them.

Why do Europeans likes eating raw meat by the way? Last time I ate raw hamburger things got a little messy. And I only ate half hamburger until I figured out that it was raw. Then again it could have been the pizza I ate afterwards. It was a Boy Scout trip and a long story.

Certain tipes of raw meat (called carpaccio in italy) are true delicacies; the meat is sliced veil-thin and parmesan, olive oil and lemon (the citric acid softens and disinfect the meat) are added.
Something to die for on a hot summer afternoon.

I found the movie cheesy by the way....

Once again we can all pat ourselves on the back and feel glad about how righteous we are, god is on our side afterall and god is pleased with the attempts to further reduce prices for us all. As cheapening as the film was to me it did highlight the issue that we can't live in a fantasy world of safety, still we can live in a fantasy world where making sure the 'bad guys' aren't doing anything we don't like is okay.

Did any of you read the info? Im surprised you non americans didnt spout off about what the guy had to say.

But that is not why I put this on here..I just think that noone should ever forget the horor of that day..and I'm am not saying this as a American or because it happened to America, but I say this as a member of the Human Race.

I myself do disagree with a few of his statements and am saddend that more innocent lives were lost due to the course of action our government took, but terroism is now in everyones back yard and something needs to be done.....I wish I knew what and how to do it without the risk of more lives being lost....but I dont...so.....I will Pray.....

Oh and Hunter DON'T EAT ME! *hides in a corner*

On a more serious note. Look at Isreal they just assassinated the leader of the Hamas this Sunday and there is no hope for peace even for my children's life time (I don't have any.... yet). They just happened to manage to piss off the moderates/palastinines just enough to doom their country to another 100 years of war before they have any choice of trying to make peace.

Actually you didn't see the news today. A Palestinian boy was about to become a suicide bomber but he decided to say 'fuck this, I'm not killing myself over this'. Now he is being hailed as both a hero in Israel and Palestine for not doing it. And it seems that the Palestinian people are quite pissed off at the the terrorists groups that would give a bomb to a boy to become a suicide bomber. Almost every Palestinian terrorist group claimed responsibility for it before but then they all took it back as soon as the Palestinian people started to show that the terrorist groups crossed a line they shouldn't have. Perhaps this event will simply disappear into history or maybe it will be a defining moment for everyone.

obviously there are palestinians who are against terrorism. it would be a gross generalization to think otherwise.
and generalizations are bad. one step towards bigotry and intolerance. i'm sorry to terribly twist what you were saying, but it needed to be done. :D

This just didn't seem like a few Palestinian though and I wasn't generalizing at all. I think you see me as a close minded person which I'm really not but that just goes to prove that you don't really know who I am or what my beliefs, morals, and ideals are. But anyways, it was enough Palestinians to make the terrorist groups to take back their claims and said we had no part in this. Maybe this will open minds in many peoples eyes that that part of the Middle East is the home of many hundreds of different religions and that no one can truly make claim for it. I recently learned that in order to be a citizen and have rights in Israel you have to be Jewish which I find totally unacceptable and wrong being Catholic. What I think should be done is that Palestine and Israel should be merged together as one democractic secular nation. But alot of people would probably want to do both in Palestine and Israel before that ever occurred.

Terrorism is now in everyones backyard? Its been my backyard for the last fourty years because of you Americans, so don't get all sentimental just because you got a smack in the face in front of the world. The horror of the day was nothing to having 100,000 people incinerated in less than a minute.
For months all you people could go on about was that day, every little detail had to have some remark to it, you couldn't just accept that people are very irritated at living in poverty for their entire lives just so people hundereds of miles away can get cheap gasoline. Everything about your society makes me cringe, you put so much value on your economy and how much money you all have - here's a thought why not try getting so worked up about everything and calling down on your almighty every time you need to add some spice to speech justifying some new oil fields.
