Given that progress on the code has completely stopped, this will not be an issue in the foreseeable future.

The RD is still active, no?

They have the scope to really affect the gameplay, they should make announcements, when the change is made

A Cantr staff blog may be a good idea, for communication about staff activities and such, it'd help players understand what staff are actually doing and show the game is still active

RD has been shut down for fear of accidentally creating a problem that would require ProgD intervention to fix. But I agree in principle that a staff blog, a changelog or another way for staff to communicate more regularly with players would be positive.

It's also not been the case that most things we do in RD are announced. The wiki gets updated pretty fast, but the FOIG thrill of discovery can be kept alive just a bit, can't it?

And MOE, we do have ongoing projects now, but some of our members have vacation. Lack of ProgD support is not new for us.

I see. I assumed Doug's post in the staff forum was the last word on RD's activities. I'm glad to hear the department is still operating.

Doug works on one special animal project, under the supervision of Wichita, which is nearing completion. He has never been a regular member of RD and does not speak for the department.
