What game(s) did you play today?

Postby formerly known as hf » Tue Aug 12, 2008 9:08 pm

Because listing music isn't half as fun as talking about games...

I installed Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines last night. Intending not to play long, needing to get up and work on my dissertation, it kept me up past 3am. One of the most engaging games I've played for a while.

Also: Amorphous+ For a quick, cute but bloody, slashy arena game.

Edit: First person to say 'Cantr' gets a slap.

Nothing. Haven't gamed in ages, including Cantr. Having to study or work on not being as depressed so I can try to keep my Mistress happy and make at least one life better...

Did preorder fallout 3 though.

Music and games are equally fun!

Currently i'm lost in space playing Freelancer, been addicted to it for the past couple of weeks. I also like the fact that it looks nice even when running on a crappy computer, like mine.

And in spare moments where i don't want to get engrossed, i've been playing Ricochet Infinity, which is basically a highly tarted-up version of the old Breakout.

The neighborhood I'm playing right now was first composed of four families of a husband and wife, all with custom hair and eyes. It's kind of a genetic experiment, to see how the frequencies of genes rise and fall through the generations. I play each family for five days each, and then at the end of every go-round I perform a census.

Oh, and for some reason they all like spinning Wants for flirting with sims they're not married to, so every single person in town (including two Family sims!) is in an adulterous relationship atm! :D :? (I am a Family sim... err... person... so it is rather bizarre to me! :P)

I haven't played anything besides Cantr today but generally I play Kingdom of Loathing, Human-Age and Nationstates every day.

I played Cantr, a few Wii games, and fetch with one of my dogs (if that counts)
When you hope for something, you often believe in something. When you believe in something, you often have pride in it. Being proud often leads to a hating of some group.
As you can see, the Jedi are hypocrites.
