My main arguement is NOT its a breach of the capital rule. While it is, its minor and more major capital rule breaches go unpunished. You cant be that picky when it comes to the Capital Rule

What I am saying is the makeup, clothes that dont exist, and things like that ARENT IN THE GAME. So Asswalker, why cant you make your own artwork?

Oh, and to discredit most of your rebuttal. Paint doesnt exist in Cantr, but should.

Maybe I am not really familiar with CR breaches, but, what a breach is it if no knowledge or advantage is gained from the picture?
Someone is wearing a belt. Is it true that belt do not exist or are they just: -not worth mentioning-?

Some things are RP'ed or too insignificant to bother implementing as part of the game. Makeup for example--who's to say that you can't take a local plant and squeeze out some colorful extract? Streaks in the hair? Some natural compounds IRL can lighten hair, and when my hair was lighter years ago it naturally had some variations in color. Minor ones, mind you, but they were there. Not everything has to be formally implemented in the game to exist, that's why it's a 'role-playing' game. So go play some role and don't bother people over such a trivial matter.

Agreed
Somehow you strayed and lost your way,
and now there'll be no time to play,
no time for joy,
no time for friends
- not even time to make amends.
You are too naïve if you do believe life is innocent laughter and fun.

the problem with requiring everything used in game to be original (like pictures) is that it means you can only rp an artist, writer, etc if you the player are skilled in that area. i don't see any harm in using photos from elsewhere to rp a portrait painter. part of the appeal of cantr is that it let's you become people who you are not.

Same with paper for the notes and how do we seal an envalope with no kind of adhesive?

Damn it people do you have to be given everything

As it was said, it's an RPG, you are supposed to use your imagination

Oh and we don't have arrows only bows, so what are we shooting, air? I'd hate to have to try and kill a bear by makeing him sick lol. Although I do think arrows should be implemented into the game. But I've said that already.

Can i just say one thing? I dont think Winnifred Ferguson's player is playing anymore O-o look how she died. No one hit her and she didnt die to lack of food. The player rped the death and then killed the account. My thoughts anyway.

A possibility, Brandon. Thanks for bringing this back to it's original topic. It was a very tramautic event, not usually seen in Cantr. Good roleplaying. And farewell, Winnifred. You will be missed.

I cried and my husband seriously thought it was time for me to become less addicted to Cantr. "It's just a game, honey." Shows what he knows  . Wait a minute.... :?

It's not funny!
She died in my char's arms, and it was really horrible. Also, my char feels guilty about the death, as though she made Winnie sick, due to various IC things in Winnie's life that my char affected over the years. :(

It's time we put a health disclaimer on the frontpage...

"Warning: Might affect emotional stability. Can be highly addictive, do not take in high doses, playing for over 1/2 a year might lead to permanent damage to the brain and rational thinking in general".
