If a player can't log in for the reason of being dead, his or her characters will die 20 days later, if the account is not transfered to someone else. The effective maximum age of a character is thus limited to about 1500 years.

Ah. Everything is much clearer now. That makes sense.

I know of a character that's 111, and not the oldest in the location.

I think there are some older charries. Yeah, it is possible to live forever or at least for some ages in catr, but this is as rare as finding a location with all minerals...plus plutonium, because we don't even have years enough for this people live 1500 years. The oldest char in cantr would possibly have about 135 years, I could be wrong. Just ask Jos what age his first char would be/is now.

You'd pm a member of the players department, tell them which character of yours, and why. You might need to give your account number too, they'd probably let you know in a reply.

Or.. go to cantr's page and click "contact cantr departments" and enter everything that is asked

Or.. login and scroll to the bottom. click "Check the out-of-character departments page for contact info" and find the Player's Department and click "contact department" and enter everything that is asked.

Yeah it would be "would be" cause Jos has had a few accounts.

I'm confused, cause I had a character that wasn't doing anything hard, she was just collecting wood and she had a heart attack one day for no reason. I played her frequently, and she was just starting to get into an interesting storyline when it happened. I just signed on one day and she was dead, it was really disappointing...

Are you sure she didn't just starve? Or get killed by an animal? Do you have the turn report?
