Question(s) about vehicles & transportation
*grml* eventually noob questions but:
now i played cantr for still a while but.. there are some questions. (must be bcause im a non native speaker) *g*
what the hell is a darter (babylon.com says thats a fish?) or a raker?
does soarer really flight or is it in development?
how i could travel over a sea/ocean?
with a boat/ferry somewhat that could swim, right- but what do i need? a lighthouse, landing stage or a coastal harbour?
..does the wheelbarrow and the improved wheelbarrow helps me carrying more from one place to another?
there isnt any descriptions about the vehicles and buildings..isnt it? *g*

Well, your character can ask all these questions to fellow characters, not?
... You see a sea, wonder how to sail it, and ask your fellow citizens whether they know
...
But to help a little bit: darters, rakers and soarers are types of sailing boats. You need a coaster harbour to use any of them. Lighthouses are, like in real life, for navigational purposes. And very useful at that!

How about pictures of things like rakers either here or in the FAQ.
Doesn't say what it does exactly but would be enough.
And no pesky translating.
Maybe transferring these to the site and getting permission to reproduce whould due

Reamer?

no picture but - There are four general classes of ship. The smallest is the darter, through soarer and skimmer to the largest, raker.

Re: Hey umm..
Susie wrote:Quiilanoii is near a lake so ....if I built a coastal harbour for taht d*mn raker that I built on accident...Do you think I could sail on the lake? Or atleast get it to the lake? O.o
But Quillanoi doesn't border any type of water, so the boat will still be stuck, and there's really no reason to make a coastal harbour.

Picture
Pictures would be a great idea! I made that stupid mistake because one, she didn't know what a raker was...two..it says NOTHING under boats when you go under transportaion, it just names them off not what "kind of transportation" I.E. Boat, car, bike. To me Raker sounds like a car. not a boat. Quillanoii is not on a lake but it is near one....*shrugs* Oh well...I guess it is just a nice place to stay ...if you have dreams...>.<
