I say just implment a number generator, that would generate 3 numbers at once. It could be like a slot machine. (Ex:3 9's = the owner giving you 10000 grams of steel while 3 diffrent numbers = nothing)

Now then children, don't throw your toys out of the pram.
All manner of suggestions may be valid, but, due to lack of manpower, they can't all be acted on, so use a bit of initiative and improvise. That's what RP is all about isn't it?
If you want three random numbers, set up three 1 hour projects for resources and use the final digit of each. People can, and will, gamble on anything in RL, so why not in Cantr?

Dapre:
I'm not taking it personally at all. That earlier post was written with tongue firmly lodged in cheek.

However, I stand by my point - telling people to 'Just RP' is not the worst argument ever. It's just what we have to do.

You mentioned that slot machines or gambling should be put in accepted. Random generator, either as Dice, slot machine, cards or whatnot is not a new suggestion, and I'm pretty sure I've read replies which suggest it's on the table to be done at some point, possibly.

But, like I said, it's possible to RP gambling. Trexdino's post wasn't very helpfull, sure, but tidy pointed out that carrot harvetser (and other harvesters) can be used. As can most gathering projects.

I've also seen lotteries and raffles run in a couple of places using notes in various ways. Sometimes having an independent person pick from a selection of sealed envelopes with the same name, but different notes inside. Sometimes combining this with the projects as suggested before.

Spawnings are also a potential way for generating a pseudo-random number. I've not seen it used, but I would be surprised if it hasn't.

I'm sure other players have other suggestions?

Either way, this is something which can be worked around using RP.

Rather than fretting about getting slot machines specifically accepted, then sitting back and waiting for them to be (eventually) implemented. If you want a casino, or a gambling ring, go ahead and start one. You can already.

Buddy, have you read any of the arguments? It's been pointed out the many ways gambling can be implemented by anyone not completely brain-dead.
If you're worried about being paid... well what's the difference between Cantr and RL? It's the traditional anecdote about the bookmaker running off with the takings.
