How common is sex in Cantr?

I have the problem that if I start a relationship with someone and then notice that the sex is bad, I feel obliged to continue and keep up the illusion of a perfect relationship even though the sex was frustrating. Fortunately most sexual relationships in Cantr have been good.

There have been a few that were very poor, like something you could find in a chatroom with someone called sexiblonde93 (made up nick) who is most likely in fact a teenage guy who has never seen a woman naked.

In general I think that girls are better at playing guys than guys are at playing girls. There are exceptions naturally but many guys want to create their perfect woman who does anything to please her man and they have no needs of their own.

Also rp sex tends to be a fantasy, everyone always cums in the end and it was always perfect. How often do you see "sorry, it went soft" or "are you done yet?" How about "would you cum already so that I can go out and punch some rabbits?" I love flirting and foreplay but when it comes to the act itself, if a person can't reach their climax in max three messages or alternatively say "sorry but this ain't working out", I get bored.

Good players can be problematic as well. If I play with someone who writes long paragraphs, I feel that I need to write equally much or they would think that I'm not putting full effort into it. If it's less than three lines per message, it looks embarrassing (e-penis measuring contests anyone)? So I may spend up to a day trying to figure out how to make this message long enough, while other people apparently write a natural response in two minutes. So for me it becomes forced and time consuming and what's that one word? Can't remember. Something about performing.

Actually the most fun experience was with a girl who writes about two lines but makes it sound as if those words are perfect and no more is needed. And also they make the situation advance without obvious pushing. I think a good player doesn't make sex rp a competition but has the ability to sense when the other player knows what they are doing, and lets them take lead, but is also ready to gently push things forward if they notice that things are advancing too slowly.

This one person wrote a short story with a direct cut from a flirting scene to the middle of sex. It's not Cantr related but it was refreshing. Could you really write in Cantr something like "the next thing you know X is ripping off Y's clothes, pushing her against the wall and woosh it's done within minutes". Well, without the wooshing sound. But anyway, I think it could be refreshing, just as long as the people know each other and know that there was going to be sex so that it doesn't come out as autohitting.

that'd actually provide ample amounts of RP.. however my characters interact with their dream girls whose players are quite skillful at RP'ing that going soft would be almost an impossible challenge in itself with them.

All joking aside, I was emotionally addicted to my married character's relationship (it was much more than sex), and it seriously messed with my real life. My real wife objected, and thank God she understood that it was my character and not -me-, but that's why I had to quit the first time around.

This time around, I'm definitely not messing around with romantic love of any sort, and I would strongly advise any other player in a real relationship to abstain. Trust me, your partner will not approve (if they say they don't care, they're lying to please you).

So I love RPing sex in Cantr. When I was younger and hornier, I got in trouble for it. I still do it too much, in my opinion, but... MOSTLY I've been able to make it work for my characters' personalities. One of my charries, though, had a real BAD sexual experience as a newspawn, and now... now he doesn't wanna try it anymore.

My charries just get horny sometimes, is all. And some of them use sex to get what they want, some use it to control people, and some are little sexual conquistadors.
