Seriously, anything that's in a library probably hasn't been read in a while, but still contains important history.
My char tries to write his poems on editable notes to save the trees. Oooops...I gave away too much already! I'm outta here.

There might be notes left by a luckless gorup of sailors on a now deserted island. That's entirely wrong. We don't purge characters, we just kill them, but we don't delete any info. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to see you characters history.
