Would you be in favour of a "Xtreme RP" city? One with only heavy RPing Characters

YES!!! so all the XRP ers can finally do their thing without being annoyed by politics, and careerhunting.

Just read it now. That is ab-so-lu-te-ly not my idea.

But RPing can be so annoying sometimes, i can imagine. Some people would even go travelling to avoid it.
Other ppl who happen to like lots of RP might spawn in a small entirely "non-RP" commutity. And they would curse it.

Now if there was a place for those "XRP" players, the could have one or two Char's in such a place. I wasnt suggesting a "XRP concentrationcamp". More like a hobby-camp. :P

That bad? Well, Cantr... like life...... Indeed.

But, to be entirely correct abt. that one, we should introduce mobile phones and have char's shouting in 'm. And annoying ringtones.

So even if they do go traveling to avoid it, they'd better avoid public transportation, too! :D

Good point west.

I gues there's nothing like a goold hike. On a lonely path, alone with the ...well...nice, beautiful.... sometimes overly agressive.... rabid rabbits and other... lethal animals...

OK... I'll use public transport anyway now that i think about it. :D

If you dont like any aspect of cantr besides the RPing... there are better games out there for you, sorry to say. Cantr isnt #1 when it comes to RPing. Its the society simulation and lack of administration influence that makes this game unique. If talking in character is all that you fancy Im sure you can find some D&D or redwall or something somewhere else. Not shooing you out of the game or anything, im just saying theres more to this game than just RPing.

Still, for many people (including myself) the game would lose it's charm if everyone turns to being silent robots who are only out for maximum efficency.

I sometimes get a bit frustrated will all the food play that seems to go on in about half the villages in Cantr, but I'll rather have that than the villages where noone utters a word for days...

I wasnt suggesting that, as West said. I just think that this game is a mix of RPing and progressing a society. Each equally important, but the game is not as good if you only do one of the two.

Oh and by the way food play I believe is people saying stuff like *throws a potato at bob* or *tosses a rock at jane*... common in a lot of towns.

There's at least two parts to a society.

Those who try to run and shape the goverment and those who just "pay taxes" {help the goverment here and there when they have too} and try to do thier own thing for their own reasons and enjoyment.

How many of your take an active role in your IRL goverment / elections outside just voting? I don't. I'm too busy palying Cantr. The RPer chracters are genrally more accpeting of what the goverment does as long as it doen't make play in the streets illegal.

If every chracter wanted to run and shape a goverment in a location then there would be much more conflict over how things should be done.

So, be thankful that there's some sillyness becuase if there wasn't there would be more debate over everything?

LOL.

But yeah... Come back. I'm sure you're not "bothering" the players dept.
A player leaving and even announcing it. Nope, wont let that happen. Not without trying to get you back.

Maybe we can get the "rogramming dept." and the "resourses" dept. to include certain "herbs", lol. They play a great role in most societies.
(damn, does it here in Holland, oh yea).

And do some "experimenting" with an alternative society, one no-one has tried yet. As part of your education so to say. So its got some "educational" value.

I'm considering coming back with one or two characters. This is an addictive game, and I have been playing for over a year now. Hard to quit now.

BTW Hemp might be a decent idea for a resource (for its industrial purposes, such as making paper or rope) but there really would be no motivation for someone to smoke weed in the game... thats kind of lame actually lol... its just a computer.

Taking us farther and farther off topic.

Hemp is oil!

Sorry couldn't resist.
