About the bone knife...

Postby Pirog » Wed Mar 17, 2004 1:47 pm

It feels strange that the bone knife requires such a great amount of small bones...is there a reason why it isn't made from big bones?

Oh, and by the way...I presume the bone earring requires small bones? It just says bones...

Thanks for pointing out the bone size issue on the bone earrings. For some reason, bone earrings are not currently in the objects database, even though they are in the game. I've posted about this in Resources, but don't have a way to tell you right now if large or small bones are needed. (It is probably small).
There are a number of reasons why small bones might have been chosen for the bone knife. Perhaps it was simply the preference of the person who created the bone knife. It might also have been an effort to increase the number of things small bones can be used for, or to affect how easy or difficult it is to make a bone knife in particular locations/regions, or even just to make you wonder "Why'd they do that?"
Perhaps it is something Resources will think should be changed, perhaps not.
