The only ways I've gotten an overloaded vehicle aren't available anymore. One was by hunting on the roads with a full vehicle (no animals on the road anymore) and the other was by putting tools into repair to lower the weight then repairing them (this was changed so tools under repair still have their weight.)

Well, maybe it's been fixed, but on my first account, you could pass things to people in vehicles as long as they had room in their inventory for them, regardless of the vehicle weight.

Are we forgetting that this game is supposed to have a bit of realism in it? Why keep beating a dead horse? I see nothing wrong with the spawning system except that big towns get super big and small towns struggle. While the 'spawnsacs' could help with that in theory, they are way too out there to be implemented. What's wrong with "POOF! You just noticed me, let's RP!" ? Nothing in my opinion.

It is? Personally, I find very little realism in Cantr.

Ok, so that was the wrong term... how about this... *clears his throat* Are we forgetting that Cantr isn't supposed to have crazy stuff in it like magic and gnomes and unicorns and uruk-hai spawnsacs?

so why do appear from nowhere and how can we hunt birds with our hands? its magic!! magic is every where arround us in cantr, you just have to open your eyes and see it!

Sea cucumbers expel their intestines at attackers as a defense mechanism. Deep sea bacteria live in water that is hotter than boiling. Frogs can switch genders if one gender is lacking in a population. Female hyenas have a pseudo penis. The line between magic and weird biology is one of perspective only, and there is plenty of weird biology in Cantr already.

Slyder has a good point. A spawnsac definitely crosses into the F/SF genre. If this gets in, I want my +5 Holy Avenger! :twisted:

There is a big difference between an easily-programmable version of a real object/process and an object/process that is originally conceived as a fantasy prop.

and...yeh spwansacs are a bit to strange and fantasiatic or wharever...But I don't like the current spwan system so lets think of better systems that do not include spwansacs. :P GO! GO! GO!

I still don't like the spawnsack idea. It's just way to... grose sounding.

Though I think spawnsacs would be hilariously different, this is the link to my favorite spawning suggestion.

I think spawning is fine the way it is. I just think the societies in Cantr need to change, not the mechanics of spawning.
