Yeah one of my few girl characters is married to a guy. Pretty sure he's played by a guy, too. Don't want to know who.

more than half my characters are female... heheh... i'm ok with that and i don't really care who's on the other end of any of my characters' relationships, although only one has really gotten involved at all... so far. it's fun rping situations that i myself would never be in or would be adverse to.

I agree fully. I've had to explain that to my RL girlfriend. What is in Char stays in Char. So for my GF I'd rather not Know who My Char Donny was with. (don't tell me please)

Let me explain a bit. My GF's Ex husband cheated on her with a girl he met on the internet, This is why I wouldn't know because I've explained that I don't know who the person is, only who the Char is. So it's not like flirting in a chat room, although that is how it looks.

I have both male and female characters and I have gay characters.

Only one has a relationship. Two of them are desperatly trying to (one in the completely wrong way) and one is just mildly flirting.

It takes so much time when a chracter is involved heavliy in something, and that goes for plotting, planning etc as well.

Damn conspiracy theories.

Some of my chars are really asexual (rite word?) and are just unimportant, not requiring much time. I wouldn't wanna know that the char who plays my char's fiancee, is a man, and I doubt so. So *phew* I don't have a problem gender char played by the other gender, just when it gets to deep relationships....

I have male and female chars, and one gay one too.
I have a few in relationships, and some with chars I know are played by the opp. sex of their char. It doesn't bother me. It's the char mine is involved with, not the player.
Sometimes i wonder if the players behind the chars my males are involved with would be upset that I'm female, so I hope they don't find out. Might ruin the role play. Because that is all it is. Fun role-playing.
I do have to wonder, though, why my guys have better luck in love than my girls. I think guy chars played by guys are not on the look for love as much as female players perhaps. *shrugs* I dunno.

Maybe that is because you play the male chars the way you would want men to be like? :P

And maybe it is like that, that female players are looking for more social interaction whilst men are trying to accomplish things. I mean it would be hard to shut out the gender roles from ordinary society completely.

I'm just saying its a tad distracting if you knew the char your controlling wasn't controlled by the opp sex when in a relationship. Its just a bit creepy, though I wouldn't completely change the course of a relationship should I learn that info. Its sorta like an itch that doesn't go away.

Question: How do the homosexual relationships work in Cantr, I haven't seen a single one yet. Or maybe I'm not looking hard enuff.

::No, I have nothing against Gay Chars, just curious:: Like would that lad empire marry a gay couple?

My experience so far is that they are considered odd by the other chars and one has also had to take a bit of stick from a commander-sort of char.

A gay couple in a town I'm in are totally accepted. At least, by most. I forgot about the crazed manwoman who called everyone in town perverts. :P

I think you're right English. I do play the perfect man. Too bad I can't get together with me.

I have a bi-char but, so far she hasn't had any luck with a female/female realtionship so I can't help you. She doesn't really care though, she will be involved with just about anyone. And so far, no one has said that she is odd, or acted differently around her.
