Lori will be sadly missed, though her death hasn't been discovered yet......... I'm not looking forward to it.

Man, I screwed up by quitting. BI-I-I-IG mistake. Seriously, I have regretted it ever since, not so much in the first few days after I quit, but more and more as time went by. *sigh* I lost so much. I started thinking about my characters, and how much they had meant to me, and the things I had accomplished with them, gone in one click of the mouse.
I should have listened to others who said to just take some time off, and think about my decision, but I didn't. And, when I read some of the comments of the people who missed my characters, I felt bad every time. It was if a part of myself had been stripped away. I know it's just a game, but, it's also like the characters you make become living creatures, and I killed them. I am so sad.
If you are thinking of quitting, please, give it some time. I have read a few threads concerning some people who are mad at the CRB's of others, and, as a former member of the Player's Department, myself, I can tell you that it will be dealt with. Don't let that dissuade you. If you quit, you will regret it. I know.
Thus, I have decided to give it another try. I couldn't even go two months. How pathetic am I? I now have two new characters, with absolutely nothing. Gone are the crossbows, crowbars, battle axes, fine clothing, boats, houses, etc. which my characters used to possess. Gone is the trust, the love, the friendships, and the power which my characters had gathered during their years in the world. Maybe I can get that back, who knows. Perhaps I will play differently this time. But, I'm going to give it another try. I just hope I can regain even a part of that magic feeling I used to get whenever I logged in.
Thank you, everyone for the kind things that you had said before. Maybe my characters will meet yours in-game.

Ample parking day or night. People spouting "Howdy Neighbor".

OMG, you're right! Lori isn't buried yet, but we had to deal with someone stealing some of her clothes as she lays outside waiting. Kirra was pretty upset when she woke up recently and found out about her death, and gave the push to lay her to rest.
Regardless, glad you're back McClone, and if you have the time, hope you'll consider returning to the PD.
