I can't imagine why PD would laugh at you for wanting to help but, then, people do stupid things all the time.

You are a respected player, Sunni, whatever is going on will pass. Step away from your chars for a few days. That always helps me. Even though other chars may have to wait for mine to respond, that's too bad. Sometimes you just need a vacation from the Cantr world.

Well I saw the post you deleted and it said something like "I don't care what happens to that town anymore". What ever town it is, it must be particularly stressful because you felt the need to mention it. So your character should physically get away from there, just going to sleep is not enough. Either find some reason to go traveling or get the character deleted if there's no other option. Sometimes people feel like they're obliged to keep playing some character because of their age or status or social contacts, but if it's being stained by OOC crap (I assume this might be the same place you complained about earlier, where someone accused you of treating their character differently because you supposedly knew their player) then it affects your mood and that reflects on to the playing experience as a whole. So you just need to remove yourself from the environment. You've been playing for long so I assume most of your characters are rather old, having a heart attack would be natural in that age and it wouldn't count as a suicide, although I imagine the character might be depressed over ingame reasons too since it's hard to believe that people could continue to play civilized while throwing crap on people OOCly. It might be a bit of a problem if you've lost your trust in PD but there might be individuals you could trust to delete a character for you in a civilized manner.

Don't leave. Or do, if you can't stand the game anymore... I left and came back (sort of) when I felt I wasn't annoyed with the game anymore. Something is just wrong about it these days.

It's natural dissatisfaction. To date I only know one person who has played the same game for more than 8 years. The vast majority of people don't last more than two. The longer you play anything, the more everything seems the same, and the harder it is to be entertained. The harder it is to be entertained, the more things start to bother you that you'd have ignored before because you were having too much fun to care.

A side effect of this is that people tend to look for scapegoats for their dissatisfaction, so they blame a changing/declining player base, recent game changes, etc. for their decreasing enjoyment. Eventually, people will yank themselves away from Cantr, and as time passes, their brains will start yearning for the fun they used to have and many come back.

It happens in life too, it just takes longer because life is more versatile and expansive. Why do you think senior citizens sit around bitching about everything all the time and vote in high numbers?

Stop it. I couldn't see anything from her comment that would cause embarassment to you or illuminate who you were. It was just a claim that she now thought she knew who you were, but that doesn't mean anyone else is going to get anything out of that. I thought maybe she found out you played an amusing character that made her laugh, rather than it being an accusatory comment that you play someone she might dislike. Your quote does far more damage than hers ever could have, because hers was obscure and yours is not. I am going to lock this thread if people can't behave.

#1 I didn't accuse you of playing this specific charri 2 weeks ago...in the PM I returned to you, yes I did #2 I asked if you played a different one, not accused #3 your PM was a whole attack in itself #4 I was NEVER told PD wouldn't have me.... I never sent the app....so how could they?

It has been more than 4 days... so the point is... what stressed me was when someone shook his genitals in my charris face in public then whispered that I need to read the CR....
