I believe my character Cherize and a Mr. Young were the first ones to discover it. As you can see, Jos made us promise not to tell, but the 4 day rule has passed.

922-5: The Dream docks at Nai Yau Pishita-kes.
922-5: You say: "Please leave the boat unlocked so I can get off.
Wow, is this exciting or what? As Captain, you deserve the honor of
being the first to set foot on this land. *wonders what they will
find*"
922-7: Mr. Young says: "*smiles as he leaps off of the boat*"
922-7: You see Mr. Young leaving The Dream, entering Nai Yau
Pishita-kes.
922-7: Mr. Young says: "*laughs* There is nothing here!"
922-7: You see Mr. Young entering The Dream, coming from the central
area of Nai Yau Pishita-kes.
922-7: Mr. Young says: ""
922-7: Mr. Young says: "I will stay here until you get off. *smiles*"
922-7: Mr. Young says: "I have been thinking alot... what do you wish
to do with these new lands? Do you want to start a kingdom together,
or something?"
922-8: You enter Nai Yau Pishita-kes, where you see 0 people, leaving
The Dream.
922-8: You enter The Dream, where you see 1 people, leaving the
central area of Nai Yau Pishita-kes.
922-8: You say: "Now that really sucks. *laughes* Well, if we can
find someplace with good resources, it would be nice to construct a
building and use it as a base to trade from."
922-8: You say: "Hopefully, someplace on this island is inhabited."
922-8: The Dream undocks, leaving Nai Yau Pishita-kes.
922-8: The Dream adjusts its speed to 100 percent and its direction
to 270.
922-8: You say: "I started us back up the coast."
922-8: You say to Mr. Young: "OOC I hope this isn`t an island that
they are still constructing."
922-8: Mr. Young says: "Im redocking us.... *grins* {ooc: did you get
the email from Jos? He says it is a new island, also he says he is
trying to hurry up and create the roads/resources ect.. for us }"
922-8: Mr. Young says: "{occ: he also says don`t tell anyone on the
forum or anything...}"

Unfortunately, without animals or resources they both starved to death.

And I never did find out who played Mr. Young.

I'm on an island I haven't a clue what the name is. It's near a polish or lithuanian island, or they're on the other end, because they keep sailing over to us. I don't know if I'll ever find out what others have called it......none of our Chi maps have it named.

That sounds lame even though you're laughing. Why can't people just get along? Maybe if technology is acquired too easily, people won't have a level of knowledge and civilization to match. (Not to mention if people are played by 13-year-olds or even younger people who have not developed a sense of empathy yet.) Whereas if people live together peacefully with members of a foreign culture who has superior weapons but won't charge upon their neighbours, by the time the savage culture gets to making steel and weapons, they will know that foreigners are not necessarily a threat.

A heavily armed but lonely person may also feel threatened if surrounded by people who speak a foreign language. As long as there is no communication, they can imagine all sorts of things. That's why it's important to try to communicate in some way.

We'll what people do when they encounter a different speaking person really depends on the person himself and/or his previous expieriences with the matter.

The first time a group of different speaking people visited my town I was thinking, hey a whole new class of potential customers. So I made an image of exchanging stuff and stick it to a note and give them all one.

But a person less busnis savvie then me might just ignore them.
And a person that's immature or aggresive might kill them for their stuff.

That's so sad! Did you leave a note? What about your boat?

believe me I don't laugh when I lose chars or great towns. We try to communicate, its just hard" Your char can beg for his life the most he want or can but he will probably get killed( maybe the answer is seducing xD). And some portuguese and lithuan chars get a long but still there will always be lithuan chars that will hate portuguese and vice versa. And since few of ours towns have iron production he are not going to win this war easily. (I thought we finnaly had a town that could make diference but I just found out we here on a island without wood... :? so the best weapon will be bone back nah for some time )

But I can say this: War rp is the best! :D

edit: and there is a big disanvantage for us...its 30 players agains 60 ( not much? but most of them seem to have 15 lithuan chars...) but 180 chars portuguese and 560 lithuans

Actually, they died in their boat and I did leave a note. I doubt if anyone has sailed into the Great Bay and found it yet. We could see land but weren't finished docking. I never had the heart to email Jos and ask if there would have been food had we landed.

Instead of just staying in one place and waiting for food to magically appear, we played it out and sailed from town to town along the coast, looking for food. Unfortunately we ran into a long stretch along the SW coast without any towns. Don't know if it was meant to be a desolate part of the island or they just hadn't been implemented yet.

That pretty much answers your question I think. 8)

I spent 20 years sailing around Fu-Put, almost starving often and saw very few live bodies on shore, only a few boats. Then I found the lithuanians and was killed.
