Questions about the Fu put Island
We'll right before I quit. I had an explorer on the Fu put Island who died off hunger. (I think I let him starve)
I think he had a note with a textual map on it. Which is rather useless without the image files I've combined for it.
Does anyone know if anything has happened to the island?
I'm rather interested as this was one of the things I've been thinking about lately.

i think unless you compiled the image files before you died, the map is borked forever. Unless the game people allow you to give the image files to someone who picks the map up, but i highly doubt that will happen.

I'd be interested in any current news of Fu Put. Before I quit one of my charries was, I believe, one of the first -- if not THE first -- to explore the inner continent. He lived by himself for at least a decade, maybe two. Built a little shack in an out-of-the-way location, a smoker, even a primitive iron smelter (not that he had anything to put in it as yet).
Seems like it took him forever just to do that much.
I wonder if anyone ever stumbled onto the remains of his little scene.
EDIT: The shack would have been called Jayhawk Manor back in the day, if it hasn't been changed. This would have been more than 400 days ago, so I think I'm safe from any untimely reveals.

Wow. But then, do you take the time to look for buildings and objects in every location you stop in?
This would have been.... eh, I can't really say where here in the forum without giving away a bunch of geographic details. I'll PM you.

My char Alexander Sarnof was probably the one who brought back the news of Fu Put back to K island.
I think he made two trips to the island.
The first where he discovered it and explored it a bit.
And the second to go there with a settlement group.
Which failed due to lack of people who were interested.
I think he is the character I miss the most after having quit.

Ooh, if jade has been found then there should be some jewelry for it. Have you found any precious metals nearby that could be combined with it? I'd like to develop jewelry that people can actually make without having to go chase some ingredient they have never even seen, since that's unnatural.

I think I've seen some coal. Its some deserted foreign island, so I have no clue where I am and I can't tell you much except that English people spawned in that foreign place and most of the places are deserted and I play Vrael DeSucar. Thats about all I know...
Resource dept. always sounded interesting too me and I wonder if I could join. But I don't know any programming thing at all, so... I doubt I could.
