And a skin so ugly that compared to Civ 1, which is many years older, seems like a work of visual art. (which it's not, not now, not then, not ever).

I tried it a couple of time's but never gotten into it, whereas Civ 1-3 kept me behind the computer untill I fainted of hunger.

I've played Civ. 1 for SNES on an emulator. Because I rule like that.

That's just wrong NVN....civ is a pc game, plain and simple...snes...yuck. Civ's 1-3 rocked...although my favoritre was CIVnet, the multiplayer version of civ1....hours of fun. If only civ3 had come out with multi with the original game, instead of a 30 dollar expansion pack...it might have been worth it.
I just can't stop coming back....

Any computer game is just another version of binary digits interacting with each other. I would still enjoy many of them. :D

The universe as we understand it is just an odd layer of normalization on top of purity of the choas quantium fluctuations.

I first discovered Civ on an SNES though, many years ago. So I wanted to get back to the game that made me buy Civ 2. :)

Strangely enough only about a month ago I played my old Imperialism game after years of having forgot it... it's still a pretty decent strategy.

I've always loved the Civ games, exept as people say Alpha Centauri, and I also didn't like Call to Power.

If you like old strategy games, has anyone played the old Dune II? I downloaded it from some site, it's only about 4 megabytes, but it brings back some good o'l memories.

I have Dune II. Interesting game. About as good as many newer real-time strategy games, but (now) free. The TI-89 graphing calculator has a Command and Conquer-ish game that's almost as good as it.

Yup, there's nothing better than to have a lazy time.
