lol Triple-posting...
Many people wouldn't waste the chance of breaking into a ship if there was no one on board. Imagine if the couple went into a cabin and someone thought the ship was empty, broke in and started sailing. It's possible that they wouldn't even look at the Buildings&Vehicles page and thus wouldn't notice the cabin. And then one day as you're sailing, a couple of naked people pop seemingly out of nowhere, demanding to know what the heck you are doing on their ship. So that's why it would be handy if you could hang a note outside the ship that says "We're Alive and Busy, Please DND".

Funny in a bad way. Bottom up.

2034-1.34: You see a woman in her twenties die.

2034-1.34: You see a woman in her twenties die.

2034-1.34: You see a woman in her twenties die.

2034-1.34: You see a woman in her twenties die.

2034-1.09: (leader) says: "Fellow citizens of (place), I think it is time we considered the future of our town. What do you want to accomplish? I can think of several goals we might set for ourselves. First, we should fortify our town against pirates and rogues by arming our citizens. Second, we should stock up on smoked cod, potatoes, and healing foods. This will ensure that no one goes hungry here. Third, we need to cultivate relationships with other towns. (title) (person) represents us at (other place), but we need to spread our name elsewhere and establish trade partnerships to bring back much-needed resources. Finally, we need to attract new citizens. But we will need everyone to participate in some capacity is this is going to work. If you have any ideas or would like to volunteer for a certain task, please speak up."

Ouch

Just one death would've been enough of a funny coincidence but - four? lol Or did it just duplicate somehow? Were they really four different people?

Someone else died four times in a row in another town, at the exact same time... maybe a player quit in anguish and furiously clicked on the 'delete account' button four times?

On a related note, is this "Funny Quotes" thread exempt from the four-day rule, or am I right in thinking the above text probably shouldn't have been posted?

I don't think it could hurt anyone with the names edited out. The only ones to know who said it and where would be ones that saw it ingame. The rest of us have no clue. And the plans aren't that detailed either.

Well, there were four bodies on the ground. So if it's a glitch, then it duped the bodies too.

And if that's a four-day problem, then sorry.

Well you can rename corpses too. If you rename one of them and it changes the name for all of them it's the same person quadrupled.

Yeah, it was a glitch. They're all the same woman... hmm...

Still... awesome timing.

Any comments in-game relating to that?

Just going through my cantr text files. The mental imagery for this one is quite amusing. Botty to toppy.

1795-5.09: a man in his twenties says: "We'll be pushing on, now."
1795-5.09: a man in his twenties says: "*nods to Catherine and Andrew* Good to see you both well."
1795-5.09: a man in his twenties says: "Yes, sir... just fine, thank you. *mumbles* Nothing a little dignity wouldn't fix."
1795-5.08: Austin says: "*blinks* Are you alright?"
1795-5.08: a man in his twenties says: "*mumbles darkly under his breath* We'll just be moving on."
1795-5.08: a man in his twenties says: "*ahem* Excuse me... *blushes furiously*"
1795-5.08: a man in his twenties says: "*he holds her as he moves inside her, leaning gently into her hand, turning his head to kiss her palm*"
1795-5.08: You see Leiter Resource Bike #1 arriving in Omeo Hills South, coming from path to unnamed location.
