The only time I get in trouble on minutes is when I end up trying to read some of the long winded notes in the game. I guess I could copy and paste them to notepad to save minutes but I don't.
If more minutes would keep people more active Id like to see it.
I could swear I heard a jewish person say a schmuck was the piece of foreskin that was cut off during a circumcision sp? which would definitely make it an insult i guess.
I like the idea of being able to donate minutes to others as well but I feel programmers have more important issues to deal with.

Easy solution: When you're done reading the note, log back in. Time isn't subtracted until you click onto another page, so if you logout and back in, that idle time is never counted. I used to do it all the time, and firefox makes it super easy by providing a bookmark toolbar. Read. Click to the login page, login, and pick right back up where you left off. I know this increases server load, but I don't care if it saves minutes, and it takes less time than bothering to copy/past into notepad.
