Back in the...400s, I guess it would be, I spawned 3 characters in Cantr City simultaneously. One went off to be a wanderer and changed his name to Felix Tabularasa. Made his way to Lad and was doin' great...it was a friendlier place, slightly. But then the time anomaly occured while I was on vacation--the arrangements I'd made for my characters never got arranged. He died in wherever they put their inactives when my account got deleted.

My character left Cantr City in the 600s when the massacres started. He went to Lad (don't know why) and was thrown in prison. He got out, joined the guard, and who does he find commanding him in the war? Gustav Graves? Guess who had been the first person to go crazy in Cantr City and attack my character? Gustav Graves (whatever name he was going by back then)!

Graves was a working for Adam Canfield who was a spy for the Alexian Empire.

So Kahina and Maria or whatever her name was were right when they guessed Lad had a part in the massacres...o_o;

What I think happened was that someone blew Adam's cover as an Alexian spy and he went crazy. So the Alexian Empire wasn't really planning what happened. Then Piers came along and used it as an excuse to clean up town and take over.

Yeah, the Empire never knew a thing about it until they started getting reports from people saying it had happened. Even then they thought the first couple people where up to something and they were either locked up or killed until the number of reports and the idintical stories made it impossible to believe that something hadn't happened.
