More like if you kiss their butt you might get something, but if you don't come to their home and hug a tree then talk to them like they are better than you as people, then you will likely get thrown in jail or attacked.

I agree with Elros but the Stone /knights my character lives with are nice, but she also makes them all their food. My characters tend not to talk much near them.

Most of the Stone Knights I've met are great! Though some are annoying...

I had a Stone Knight character...

From my experience as, and seeing the Stone Knights... they are a ruthless bunch. Even away from home, I've seen them spit some nasty venom. At home, they actually have reason, respect, and honor. Abroad... well, they are just expansion and power obsessed at times. I have met one or two nice ones while traveling, but one of my characters (who shall not be named) met one who was so rude, I as a player had to rethink what I thought of the Stone Knights.

Sadly, I can't remember who it was that was rude, or even what town it was in :( I don't keep journals... find them agitating. Good idea, yeah, but I fear screwing up and mixing in ooc things into the journal.

There is nothing wrong with it. It is good RP. I just don't see how some of the people on here that play Stone Knight characters do not see how unkind and racial they are towards non-Stone Knights. There is nothing wrong with it at all, its just that some of the players like to paint the picture that the Stone Knights are these kind and loving people, and that is ridiculously far from the truth. The only time you will ever find a kind Stone Knight is when he/she is visiting another town. Go to their home, and they will give you hell.

The stone knights have humongous stone walls when it comes to trade relations.

They are the dominant force in the south of Treefeather, however, and have a firm grip on all the important resources. It's no wonder they're racial bullies, they're a powerhouse. They bully because they can.

My character's have different opinions of them... One is neutral, another lieks them, another fears them, and a fourth has killed two in secret. :twisted:

i personally have nothing but the utmost respect for the stone knights. they're an organization that knows their goals and goes after them, and if you mess with them you get whats coming to ya. I guess you could think of em as a mafia family or something, they have a lockdown on legit business but keep in power because they have power, that sorta thing. If you infringe on their turf, they'll do you in. But thats politics, and people have to keep in power somehow.

Personally, if I spawn in a stone knight town, im probably gona join. (if i make a new charrie)

And you would initially think that some red organization like the Stone Knights wouldn't exist by now. Don't they seem to be at least one of the longest living groups to this day?

I don't know. Honestly, and this maybe a little rant, but I think too many countries are lovey dovey these days. Not saying the Stone Knights are evil or mean, but people find them to be caustic because they treat their lands like they own them. Which since there isn't any other dominant force in the area, they do own said territories.

Honestly, would you let some random visitor come into your vegetable patch and start picking without so much as a gift or a hello?

And as for being a real family, the Stone Knights are second to none.
