That's a nice as I'm going to get when it comes to defending my favorite character.

Tha pixie is sensing some hostility between her two friends and would like to plactate the evil gremlins that seem to be dwelling within them....

Please, both of you stop typing. resist the urge to type a response to this until you finish reading.

Sit back in your seat, take a nice loooooong deep breath in, hold it for a few seconds and as you breath out, release the gremlin within by speaking aloud all the cuss words you can think of. If you run out of breath before you run out of cuss words, do it again.

Repeate these breaths and verbal releases until the gremlin within is satisfied and goes back into hibernation. The evil verbal gremlin will be fooled by the cussing into thinking you are giving in and verbally attacking a human being.

Now, don't you feel better?

Back on subject...

None of my characters ever really achieve greatness, as I tend to have to leave them for long periods when I'm away. However,

One became President of Quillanoi
One killed the first Lad invader in Brinks Forest
One survived Piers Anthony's purge and now owns a thriving business as a result
One founded one of the few successful religious organisations (even if I say so myself) - they'll reach greatness one day...
One recently came in to the possesion of 20,000g of iron. Not bad considering he slept for several years...

Of those I think one is obvious who they are. The others might keep you guessing. All my charcters seem to keep a fairly low profile, not sure why that seems to be the case.

Those achievements don't seem much for a year of my life playing Cantr. Now that's a depressing thought...

And so far Only two have left my chars.

Oh, I know a feat. I was able to fool this one guy who was chasing me by just standing on the road, but still facing the direction he was facing. As expected, he couldn't be able to discern the speed I traveled in (which is none) so before he knew it he went passed me out of range.

But I knew it was going to be my last laugh, because he was able to catch up to me the moment he turned around. That's my bump for the day.

How're your feats up to this point?

Ooh ooh! I have a couple!

Etece Egroa - A pirate from Oliprovash... Got captures in oliprovash east but managed to escape through some fast talking. Went on to massacre Kiii but was eventualy stopped in Siom when his partner tried to break into a locked boat in broad daylight

Roo Avery - Co-Commander of the Last Hunt of the Barons with Starlyn, and was involved in each of the Hunts before that, and also fought beside Jeff at Stanchi against the Commador. Spent more time at war then all my other characters put together

Bali - Founder of the Order of the Mother in Zuzi, and has been involved in many wiered and wonderful events as its leader.

Jimmy Carr - Started out as a thief in Mulof (north) and is now King of the great (if quite sleepy) Kingdom of Baaak Hills (west).

Bill Johnson - Commander of the East Kol Watch. Has seen it through its highs and lows for several years now and is still going.

Calis Avensby - Been a member of almost every armed force on K-Island for atleast a short period, managed to survive being a member of the Ivory Army and is now incharge of rebuilding a small town.

Makior MacGregor... being a MacGregor, accomplished musician, and... well, my first character.

Ralts for willingly joining a pirate crew, attempted to steal a ship, and being captured but lied to get out of the trouble leaving his crewmate to be killed. Sukas!

I have more, but I'm either to lazy to remember them, or the events are going on now.

Also... Mattio Skylar... its big but to recent to reveal. Let it go down in the history books!

Well lets see. Roo has done a lot in his life. Bali...some of those events were quite weird. I've enjoyed rp'ing with your characters. As for Jimmy Carr, my characters have never met him but he constantly gets confused as my characters' dead husband.

Amazing that I haven't posted any stuff that actually counts (my posts in this thread are from when I was a newb). I have the feeling as if I'd posted some stuff but not in this topic it seems.
Jaina got keys to pretty much everything in a small town once the previous leader had died and declared herself a leader even though there were older people present, and no one ever questioned her leadership. Still in charge some 50 years later or so.
Hannah convinced Danea Mathabane that she would make a good mayor when she was just five days old and she's been leading Seatown Hills ever since.
Lewis picked up a lot of keys in Quillanoi and had access to ten buildings, hurt some people and managed to stay alive for a couple of days after. Managed to lure a couple of people into buildings and lock them up, including the captain of the guard and probably inspired one of the witnessing guards to go insane later in life and murder an innocent sod who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Jonas... I've written what he did in other threads. I don't remember how many he killed anymore but I think he did pretty well. Being on a low-tech region may have helped, and finding an unlocked bike.
One that's still anonymous managed to run unscathed from a heavily armed man who has several vehicles.
Several of my characters have survived near-death situations or captivity. Also some have murdered without ever getting caught.

One of my characters has got to be the luckiest thief I have ever played.

He started off walking into some palace of the Lad Empire and walking back out with a bunch of tools and a cool leather jacket. He added a couple petty crimes to the list until he docked into this coastal town just in time to see the town leader fall over dead. Crossbow, crowbar, iron shield, and a load of popcorn! Woohoo! The only witness was so confident that the character would high tail it that he sat outside gathering until he got a bolt in the gut for 57%. My character cleaned up what he could, even stuck around a while longer trying to break locks and con returning townmembers that it was in their best interest. A couple days out to sea he came across a ghost ship that took nearly half a year to crack, but yeilded several kilograms of iron and steel! Woohoo! Now he just sits around looking at all the loot thinking, "How could it get any better than this?"

It'll be a SAD day when his luck runs dry.

What life does a thief have.?.. he can never settle anywhere and use the stolen loot... you can settle on a barren island... and one day.. someone will come along and kill you.... because they remember you.... happened to the love of my charri... (she still misses him but don't think she will ever get to go home...their home) he even tried to make ammends... someone found him, and killed him... his luck will run out or he will die of boredom.
