Well said Zanthos. Unfortunately not all players are like that. But that doesn't mean we couldn't talk about stuff on the forums just because some poor players can't figure out the CR. From what I've seen, the general ingame attitude towards the Stone Knights is mainly positive. Although I've run into some individuals who have had bad experiences with them, usually it's poor young men whose opinion doesn't weight much. Three of my living characters have met Stone Knights and heard stuff about them, both good and bad. One has a positive image of them although the first things he heard about them was negative, one is suspicious but willing to trade with them and one has mixed feelings about a certain individual but assumes the others are not like him.

The only of my characters to have contact with the Stone Knights was dealt with fairly kindly. But he is an impudent fellow and took it to heart, so now he wants to kill them all (and has manufactured a story he thinks will be effective). But unfortunately I am a lazy player, and his attempts to rally support have gone unheeded (besides a gruff call to stop polluting the ground with pamphlets), so he sleeps and sleeps and sleeps.

Aww, that doesn't sound very effective.

I assume people must've managed to break into the darter by now so would who ever got Jordan's journals send me a copy, provided that they weren't destroyed? I think I made the first part uneditable but not the second part (I sincerely thought he was immortal :) ).

A darter can not be docked to by anything, so if the boat is at sea... it is a floating safehouse never to be looted.

Jordan bit the dust docked to shore. You know that was a very good read of his journal you should send that to the webzine Seko, it's on it's way to you.

Thanks, this brings back a lot of memories. It's rather long for the webzine in my opinion.
I forgot to mention how Jordan died because I assumed everyone who cares was either present ingame or will hear about it later on but anyway, he docked to Olip Forest during hour 6 and was instantly (= within a minute) attacked by three people, the first one missed, the second one did 41 with a bastard sword past the shield and the third one finished him off with a crossbow. I wasn't prepared for this because there had always been less activity on hour 6 compared to hour 7, so faulty logic said that the first attacker must be the only person awake, and the fact that he missed made me feel like ok, even if there would be someone else awake then I could just as easily dodge it or at least block most of the damage because I had zero tiredness. Too bad we never got that near-death state because Jordan's last words would've been "Haha, you missed me."

I've had better experience with the Stone Knights than the Silver Knights of San d`Oria. Two of my characters have been through both San d`Oria and Stone Knight town, and the Stone Knights didn't almost kill one because I didn't know you couldn't take stuff, and put it into slavery or force my little, sweet, innocent, naive character to starve himself because they forced him into slavery for the rest of his life because he has a copy of the note.

Although, I'm not big on all the Stone Knights, some are mean. And I know the dude that killed Jordan, he told me about it when he got back to town.

I don't know if theyve broken the lock on the darter yet or not. I have a charrie there and witnessed the death but it would be out of character for him to go looking for a journal. He does collect notes so if I happen upon it i'll make sure you get it seko. My charrie being new and new to the SK's is keeping a journal and has a very nice entry pertaining to the whole affair but hopefully it will be some time before that comes public. :)

I've been reading through Jordan's journals and turns out he did meet Hummer again after the incident in the forest and they had some interaction, so either Hummer must've forgotten he was supposed to kick Jordan out of the Wanderers or then he just said he would do that to make the Stone Knights happy. Since Jordan was never officially notified of being discharged and neither were any of the other Wanderers, that must mean he was still one of them at least until he started hitting people.

I typically just ignore everything I read on the forum when I play the game, but not all people are able to seperate the player from the character as well as I do. I swear, if I was like some of my characters I'd hate myself.

If the game was like that, that would be awesome! I really need to spawn a character like me though... it would seem fun... :P

Ha ha, I made myself as a character a couple of years back and got locked up. It was kind of funny, in an ironic way. I ended up starving to death in a jail cell and I can't even remember what for. :)

I liked that toon... even went to Olip west and started building an office for Red knights there... but then the Rollback hit, and I didn't find the gumption to go do it again. Another regret by Yo_Yo :(

Ahhh the Red Knights.....the memories! P Grimes - Wata guy!

Stone Knights killed my earliest attempts at characters back in the day. Or just locked them up and forgot about them. Now I've got a char who's a Stone Knight, and a char in close proximity to that one who isn't a SK and had a sort of close brush with them. Personally I think they're too strict for big cities but are great at keeping the peace in the wilderness, which to me is the core of the Stone Knight values.

They demand respect for their home.... they protect their own... they do have (or at least did) high morals they followed. If you are respectful.. they return with the same..... and just about anything you need.. you get.

I had a charri, that was even granted use of the hematite drill and a table to crush it on...and when the news came that her friend died... 4 Stone Knight came in to help her finish up so she could go back....
