Oolong is the deal!

I have a supply of Anxi Gold King coming.
I also ordered some Lapsang Souchong, and a Pu'er Sampler.

I get it from Gray & Seddon.

Here's a question: do you drink tea with milk in it?

I do, but I've heard this is a British thing and that most Americans don't. Is that true? I'm curious to know the tea drinking customs of the various places people are from.

Never had milk in my tea, doesnt seem like it is a good drink. Just tea and a spoon full or two of sugar.

If the tea is good, its taste can stand alone. Most store bought bag style tea is not a good grade of tea, and doesn't really taste that good. In my experience, Americans overwhelmingly use milk in their tea. As an apprentice electrician on very large construction jobs in New York back in the '80's, I had to get morning coffee for many men every day (a lot of them from other parts of the country). Of those who drank tea, only a handful took it black, unless they had lemon in it. I'd say 80% wanted milk, and almost all wanted sugar or a substitute. Again, this was cheap bag style tea.

I like lemon and honey for tea, cream and sugar for coffee, and just a tiny lemon zest in my expresso. That's how most of my friends take it too. If I don't have those things handy then plain is fine.

Tea? I live off of tea :D

I put milk in my Chai tea but that's about it.

Peppermint, chammomile, rose hip, elderberry, and white tea are a few of my favorites.
