Mmh, what would be the population limit for a stand-alone location?
Lets say, 10 production spots, one harvester and enough tools, all animals killed long ago, and people eating five days each nine.
Edit: Ok, I did the maths, tho I don't know how skill would weight there.
This is the Rice Island, with only one grassland location and totally isolated:
Rice harvester with petrol: 9300 grams.
9 characters with sickles: 2800 grams x 9 = 25200 grams.
That is 34500 grams.
If people managed to eat on average two days and miss one, that would add 17250 virtual grams, up to 51750.
Then, at 166 per day, that would be... 312 characters. That number would increase if they had drying racks, animals, or fish+seaweed.
So I guess a non isolated location should be able to maintain easily over half thousand characters, bringing some food and meat from one or two nearby locations.
Greatest population right now?
