Also, please try to get submissions in as early as possible. If it's something that'll take some time, PM us and let us know how long it'll take.
Thanks

Ok I pm'd it to you. Hope you like it.

Elros, I personally read your article, and I would like to say it was magnificent :)

I'd love to see more articles from you any time, and you can of course PM them to me or Paul (Ulo). If you need an email to email it directly to us, I can PM you my email so you can have both mine and Paul's.

Also, to Valsum, I'd love to see articles in Spanish, and if you could also send along an English version some how, that would be even better. I can slightly read Spanish, but never write or speak it. If you could also get more Spanish speaking players to write articles or translate them, we could have each issue in English and Spanish. This goes to all other language groups of course.

*laughs* Sorry about that, I meant to reply after the quote but my computer messed up. Anyways, what I was going to post on there was:

Thank you very much! I tried to write an interesting to read story, while still keeping it 100% accurate with how it happened in the game. I am glad you liked it.

That article was written in-character as part of my RP for that character, but after writing it I have been thinking about maybe writing some more short stories about different characters of mine to send to you guys. If I write anymore anytime soon then I will make sure I send them.

I will write them all in-character so that they are original and not just a story made up by me. It makes it a little more difficult because I can't just make up whatever I want when writing it, and I can't pick who lives or dies, but it just makes it all more unique because it is all true events that take place in the Cantr World.

Bit random, but I hate it when you 'roleplay' on the forums. :D

Issue 11 is due for release October 1st. That's about 6 weeks away.
Again, we need more input, in the forms of:

Articles
Poetry
Obituaries/Tributes
Interviews
Stories
Artwork

It's not only us editors that can interview other players. We usually have one interview per issue, done by either myself or Andrew (Drakulya), but there's absolutely no reason why players can't conduct their own interviews. Even better if you can meet your interviewee in person and get a photo of you together. :)

Poetry, stories and artwork are created all the time in-game. If your character has written or drawn anything, let us know! Send it to us and we'll publish it.

We're always going on about articles, but really they're just one of the ways in which players can be a part of Stolen Notes. Projects like Sunni's Poetry and the new Obituaries are excellent ways to contribute to the webzine without having to slave away for hours in front of a hot keyboard. (Of course, if you can slave away, please do! ;) ) And, of course, we welcome new ideas and projects. Contact us by PM if you want to help! :D

Yes, we would LOVE to have more player created work. Your work makes the issues more colorful, and therefore more enjoyable to read. If you think you suck at writing, do not worry. We are called editors for a reason, and we WILL work with you on any problems we come across. Trust me... its pretty awesome to see your story up on the internet, and know that people from all over the world are reading it.

So yeah, give us what you can, and we will work with you on it. If you think its horrible, then send it in earlier so we can work with you even more. I have no problem sending about 20 emails back and forth over one article. It shouldn't take that many... but you get my point.

Also, if you have images we can use, we'd like to see a few of those too. Not too large, but nice none the less. *reads down* Yeah.. what Ulo said :)

I missed the statistics from the last issue. I will try to dig up some suggestions I have on a notpad somewhere.

EDIT: Found them!

These are all top 5 or top 10 list material:
Location with most notes.
Biggest pile of a single resource in grams.
Char that named most people (living and dead I suppose).
Most numbers of ships docked together.

More advanced:
Adaptability. Ratio of cloth vs leather bellows per language zone.
Items of clothing correlated by age. (similar to the iron shield thing already done).
Number of people named correlated by age.
Number of people on land vs number of people on the sea, per language zone.

I'm also very fascinated by the apparently vast amount of iron and steel in the game, even though you rarely see very much. Thus I would be very interested to see these:

Biggest piles for both. Not by location (to avoid ooc influences), but by grams. (possibly per language zone as well).

Average amount/char for each language zone.
